THE BEST FOR OILY SKIN

Oddly my face is now oily at 59... it took awhile and quite a bit of money to find all new face products. Hands down this spray is the best!! I like that it sprays a fine mist, which is very important to get even coverage. The smell (lavender) is good, although I think I’ll try cucumber next. It’s a bit much for the first 15 minutes for me. Reason for 4 stars on scent. It does smell authentic though if you like lavender. It also drys well and doesn’t feel sticky. It actually does a little at first, so resist the temptation to blot some off. I use about 2-3 pumps. So my routine for oily skin is as follows: Clinique Dramatically different moisturizing gel Thank me later matte face primer This stuff is AMAZING!!! Estée Lauder Double wear Stay in place Makeup Laura Mercer cream blush (oleander is great for all skin tones) Dermablend Loose setting powder. I use translucent SLAY all day setting spray Let each layer dry before applying the next one. Bonus to this method is I’m not getting acne breakouts anymore too!! Hopefully this can help someone not spend a ton of money to make your foundation last all day without getting shiny. This routine has actually lasted 24 hrs I fell asleep with in on, and was shocked it still looked great when I woke up.

Awesome
Scent: Dreamsicle
This is the best scent of the Gerard Cosmetics settings spray. I use it as a facial refresher during the day. Especially sent for spring and summer smells just like Creamsicle ice cream. It does not leave a sticky residue.

Kinda Stinky
Scent: Coconut
The staying power is great, I went with the coconut fragrance because I thought it would be less fragrant. Not a fan of the smell, but it does go away after a bit.

Great product but horrible smell!
Scent: Peach
First of all, when my product arrived it came without a spray nozzle which meant I couldn’t use the product as is, so that was frustrating. Luckily, I had a glass spray bottle that I could use so one I transferred the product to the glass container I was able to start using it. I bought this product in the peach scent and let me tell you, it’s intense. When I put on my face, to me, it smells like cough syrup but when my husband walks in the room after I put it on he thinks it smells like paint so as you can imagine the scent is not a winner for me. Now with all that being said, the actual product, minus the smell, is great. I notice my makeup stays and looks really well when I use it and as an oily skin girl that is amazing. My only suggestion is that if you try this setting spray, I would go for a different scent than the peach.

Great Product!

First of all the shipping with this was amazing ! It came way faster than I expected so that was a plus. I feel like this setting spray will be very useful in the summer when my skin is more oily than usual however right now my skin is very dry so this product seemed to make it a little more dry after applying. I ordered the peach spray which smells very good and is not too overwhelming of a scent. I have just recently started using the spray and so far it seems to be doing its job! I even fell asleep with my makeup on (which I know is bad!) and my makeup still looked fine the next day!

A must have make up staple

I tried many setting sprays this is one of the best. I’ve been using my favorite mint chocolate chip and orange-creamsicle scent setting spray but have not been able to find it so I decided to try the coconut scented one and I absolutely love it. Does the Job. Keeps my make up looking fresh till the end of my shift. Smells amazing.
