Description

Show off your basketball skills with the Skywalker Trampolines Rectangle Jump N’ Dunk Trampoline with Net Enclosure. Rectangle trampolines differ from other shapes because of the bounce they provide. The trampoline’s springs work independently, allowing for a controlled takeoff and landing from any point on the jumping mat, making this a great choice for aspiring gymnasts and athletes. The added basketball hoop accessory allows kids to be the star of the court as they jump, shoot, and dunk their way to victory. Parents can feel at ease knowing this rectangular trampoline for kids and adults features a patented no-gap enclosure system, and the framework is made of weather and rust-resistant galvanized steel. The rectangular trampoline’s basketball hoop is made of soft material to keep kids safe while dunking. Add fun to your backyard with the Skywalker Trampolines 15' Rectangle Trampoline with Basketball Hoop.

  • Great Customer Service... once you get hold of them
My original review was a bit of a rant about how their customer service didn't reply to multiple attempts to reach them, regarding defective pieces that compromised the safety of the product. Curiously, after writing my screed here on Amazon, I found an email address on their website and within the day, had an incredibly helpful customer service rep who attended to my question and problem. I will say here that the customer service form (where you put your name and a description of your issue) on the manufacturer's website is a black hole -- I never got any reply from this form, despite multiple attempts. If you need something from the manufacturer, use the email on their website. Regarding the product -- I loved the instructions, as they are written with a good sense of humor. I put the entire thing together by myself in about half a day, without much urgency. There are aspects of the construction where you will need a partner to help hold things in place while you line up supports, but otherwise, the instructions and construction are pretty straightforward. As for the enjoyment factor -- the kiddos love it & we are now known as the 'bouncy house' by the other kids in the neighborhood. It has amazed me how much the kids play on it, in all weather. The biggest 'win' as a parent, is how much the kids now play outside, rather than nagging for screen time or sitting in the house on nice days. The larger size was right for us, as we have two kids (8 and 10) and they have so much energy that a smaller formed tram probably wouldn't suit them -- when I see them in friends' circular tramps it reminds me of birds in a small cage. This one is big enough for games and for the kids to practice their gymnastics and martial arts moves in a safer, more forgiving environment than our floors. If you have the space, I would definitely recommend this sized tramp. The kids love it, and so do we. ... show more

  • Bouncing fun
Size: 8' X 14' Style: With Hoop
This is a great product and was easy to put together for two people. My kids love it. It even was easy to move houses with. Luckily I kept the instructions.

  • Bouncy, fun, and went together easily
Size: 8' X 14' Style: With Hoop
I was dreading putting this thing up. I’ve never built a trampoline, only a mini sports one which drove me crazy! However I was really surprised by how well it went together. The instructions were clear. We put together furniture regularly, and this was easier than some other things we have built. It’s just bigger. My husband put the frame together in the first hour, then we carefully attached the pad (counting the loops to make sure we had it right). That took maybe half an hour for the two of us. The outer pad ties on underneath. 20 minutes. The enclosure was the last part to go up- in 20 minutes. This morning we had no trampoline, this afternoon my kids have been merrily bouncing for just a couple of hours work for both us parents. There was no damage or missing parts. The boxes are HEAVY! Like, don’t plan to move them kind of heavy. We unpacked the parts we needed as we needed them, and moved the parts, rather than the whole box. Top tip: gloves and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirt on. Some of the metal had residue from manufacturing. The space. I know the safety rules about one person bouncing, but this thing is big enough for each tween to get their own half! Plenty big enough. My husband and I tested it out too. I mean…. For safety purposes… right?! Home insurance. I was wondering about this. We have no pool, so I figured it could increase because of risk. Nope. None. Covered under personal liability. Now. Durability? I have no idea at this point. But I expect a several good years out of this. If it doesn’t live up to expectations I will come back and edit this review because this was a major purchase for us. This cost more than 12’ circular spring ones, but less than the spring free round models. I therefore expect it to perform better than the basic ones. Looking forward to a summer of jumping, stargazing, and cloud watching. For the kids I mean..right? 😉 ... show more

  • The truth is its a great trampoline!
Bought this for my 10yr old nonverbal autistic son and family. It arrived in three very heavy boxes, that was so heavy and large Amazon hired a different delivery service to bring it here. They were so kind and helpful. They actually brought everything in to my backyard, which they were not contracted to do but did anyway for free!! Then the madness began! The instructions were easy to follow and very thorough. I am a 47yr old woman who has never done anything like this before but I have a brain and an semi-intelligent so I thought, how hard can this be? Ha! There is also a video that shows a couple assembling this exact trampoline, which was an incredible asset!! I watched this numerous times during construction. Here's the thing, I spent over 10hrs on the first day, completing everything except for the springs and had to start the next morning. Putting the springs on was for me the most difficult part of the process!!! I simply could not do it, did not have the strength to do it! Frustration was putting it mildly, how we all felt at this point! So I had to( my kids screaming everyday!!!) wait for a few family members to take the time to come help me finish it up. To sum it all up, if you can afford it, hire someone to put this baby together! I waited until we used it for over a month to leave this review bc I wanted to really use it and see how well this trampoline is and honestly it is pretty AMAZING! Well designed, VERY sturdy, my autistic son is giving this trampoline a steady, heavy workout every single day and most evenings. We bought a cheaper round trampoline a few yrs back that didn't last after a couple of months. It was destroyed and we were left with the bare bones. All I can tell you is that having had both types, it's absolutely worth it to spend the extra money for a better quality trampoline! I am NOT a fake reviewer. I am a single broke mommy of four w a few grandchildren and I rely on reviews to make bigger purchases bc I can't afford to blow money. I take this seriously. Nothing fake here. ... show more

  • Great Trampoline-2 boxes
Size: 8' X 14' Style: With Hoop
Great size to jump for rectangular size space we had available in our backyard. Put together in about 4 hours. Had an issue getting both boxes though. Only “box 2 or 2” showed up and I had to call to get the entire order reshipped (free of charge of course) in order to get box 1. Then had to arrange the additional box 2 to be repicked up. Other than shipping issue, this is a great buy for our family! ... show more

  • Wish I bought this years ago!
I wish I had bought a trampoline when the kids had first started to ask. I had a number of misconceptions, so I wanted to write this review to my former self: 1. “Trampolines are dangerous” Not as much as they used to be! The net on this trampoline is inside the springs and shields the jumper from the frame and springs. I would guess that most injuries are from someone falling between springs or contacting the frame or ground. I feel this is secure! 2. “My homeowner insurance will go through the roof!” I can only speak for myself, but adding the trampoline to my existing policy increased my premium by exactly ZERO. Yep! I almost fell over in disbelief. I do have a swimming pool, so I guess the risk is already accounted for due to the risk of injuries/drownings with pools. 3. “It will kill my grass” I know, it sounds petty, but I didn’t want my lawn to be ruined by this toy. I was pleasantly surprised that the sun does filter through the majority of the trampoline (all except the frame area). We are also mitigating this by moving the trampoline to a new spot every time we mow. Mowing under the trampoline is a real issue. I almost thought about getting one of those mow robots. But the trampoline can be moved just fine with 2 people and only leaves a little bit of scarring on the grass (picture 2). (Bermuda grass in Phoenix during the summer after 1 week in that position) 4. “It’s a fly-away hazard during storms” I bought some amazing tie downs from a company called Eurmax and they were simple to install and it hasn’t budged at all during our severe Phoenix monsoons. These stakes drill into the ground with a metal spiral over 12” long. I’ve been losing 2” diameter branches off my trees all week due to high winds and no issues at all with the trampoline moving. I do believe that having a 6’ block wall may keep the wind above the jump deck, and most of the issues I’ve heard were in yards that didn’t have block fences. 5. “It will just fall apart in the Phoenix sun” Time will tell, and I’m no optimist about any part of this trampoline surviving the Phoenix summers, but I specifically bought Skywalker brand because their website sells EVERY piece of this trampoline for replacement. I don’t plan to let a ripped net or saggy springs/jump mat languish. I’ll gladly buy replacement parts as needed to ensure it’s in top shape for years to come. The replacement parts are very reasonably priced - I think the net runs $50 and the mat ~$200. Overall, I could not be more happy with this purchase. I’d give it 6 stars if I could, and should have bought it 5 years ago! If you’re on the fence, I’d say buy it! ... show more

  • Terrible packing and shipping.
Size: 8' X 14' Style: With Hoop
Trampoline is good now that after five weeks we have all of our parts. First shipment arrived with boxes torn open and multiple large main pieces missing. It was 4pm on a Friday and Skywalker stops answering the phone at 3 (2:50) on Fridays so had to wait till Monday to get a shipment of the missing parts. Second shipment arrives, box torn open, two pieces still missing. Third shipment arrives box torn open missing one of the two replacement parts. Company claims it’s not their fault it’s the shippers even though it’s happened with UPS and Fedex at this point. Fourth shipment arrives for our final outstanding missing part, it’s a part from the wrong trampoline this time and does not work. Call the company ten minutes before closing on Friday right after the wrong part arrived, no one picks up to answer. Finally, the fifth shipment goes out after calling first thing Monday and finally that Thursday after almost 5 weeks we have a full set to be able to put this together. Trampoline works great now that we have all the pieces. Customer service at Skywalker was great when we were able to get ahold of them, but their shipping and packing methods need a lot of work. ... show more

  • Great!
Size: 8' X 14' Style: With Hoop
First off, I don’t have kids. I’ve wanted a trampoline since I was a kid and took gymnastics. I wanted the health benefits of exercise and lymph system drainage. I’m not a mini-tramp type of person and for $150 it seemed boring. Saw this one on Prime day $200 off, so I figured why not? Delivered in 2 weeks in two slightly beat up heavy boxes and I’m sure UPS was not thrilled. Straight forward assembly. Everything fit together and the directions were clear. Only issue was that the last thing that went together was the enclosure poles. I realized the brass colored fitting that holds one of the poles was bent enough that the pole would not slide in. I dreaded taking everything apart after 3 hours and 80 springs! Luckily I was able to bend it back into shape with a large crowbar. Check them before you start! I am 180 lbs and the bounce is significant! Much different than when I was a 80 lb kid! Be careful as an adult since it’s much easier to get injured with age. Feels sturdy, but I don’t push the envelope. Again, for me it’s just for exercise. It is a great workout, definitely feel it. Relaxing at the same time with little impact. Can’t speak to whether it improves lymph drainage yet.. Happy with it. ... show more
