This company claims the products are “renewed” back to original condition. Well I can attest they do not. Received the earbuds in non working condition in multiple ways, along with it not being rewrapped to even appear as if it was new. I contacted the manufacturer Skullcandy to troubleshoot in attempts to rule out human error, I was advised that I received a defective product that should not have been issued if it was in fact inspected thoroughly. This item doesn’t pair properly, loses connection often, and the microphone doesn’t pick up ANY SOUND. I had a feeling I shouldn’t buy refurbished electronics (I never do) and I should have listened to myself. If I could give 0 stars I would, so 1 will have to suffice. ... show more

This product does not meet Skullcandy specs! Very low volume and extremely distorted bass... Tried saving a few bucks by going refurbished, clearly a mistake. Also, left earbud keeps disconnecting and you have to completely reset both headphones to sync up.

I was a bit afraid with all the negative reviews. But with Amazon's amazing return policy what's the worse that will happen? This product is perfect for me. It has that amazing skullcandy sound quality. Deep resonating bass, clear and crisp high end and slight reverb feeling. Yes, it doesn't get all that loud, but it can actually get really quiet, which for my sensitive ears is a plus. If you try to eat potato chips with this on you'll have to put the volume on max to hear the music well. I usually put it on the lowest volume setting and the battery will last me for 8 hours. What I disliked: The rubber cover pictured comes loose too easily, which is a shame because I like how it looks with it on. I decided to take it off, but that makes it so that I have a hard time taking the buds out of its charging case. I wish it was easier to take the buds in and out of the charging case. It's kind of hard to get a good grip to pull them out. Still, for the bargain I paid for, I really can't complain! I will update this review if anything changes with my opinion or if it doesn't last. ... show more

I understand that with refurbished or "renewed" items you get varied results. My Indy headphones came in original packaging and looked great. There were a few scuffs, but honestly on matte black products getting them brand new your going to get scuffs immediately upon opening the product. I did, as mentioned in other reviews, have problems with getting the left earbud to connect, but upon reading the user guide and checking on SKULLCANDY's website for help i was able to resolve the issue in a few minutes. Sound quality is what I expect from skullcandy. Good smooth bass, and clear mid's and trebles. I don't however get a ton of volume, but honestly for the price and for wireless earbuds, the volume is quite nice. Unless however you want to ruin your hearing, in that case you need to get different headphones. Noise cancelling is well above average, about on par with other skull candy in-ear products, which helps with maybe below average peak volume. With three size options for comfy ear inserts you should be able to find a great fit to help boost bass and sound. If your ear doesn't fit the three given sizes you probably have abnormal ear size and need custom earbuds. Overall a great product, and extremely disagree with the other reviews. Sound quality was mediocre fit and finish with mediocre I'm really surprised by how mediocre the Skullcandy indy work I have the Skullcandy crushers and they're awesome headphones but these here were a real letdown Skullcandy really have to step their game up!!!!
