This is my second pit bull skull shaver. I absolutely loved my first one but the battery was dying. I’ve had it for a while already so it was time for a new one. I like the changes they made but the razor head didn’t shave as close as the original, that is why 4 stars instead of 5. I switched the heads and now it shaves close. If they would have kept with the original head, it would have been a 5+ star rating. ... show more

    • Great Travel Shaver
I started shaving my head a couple years ago and this shaver here has been a real time saver. It seriously only takes me a few minutes and I can shave my entire head and I have a massive head. The top pops up easy enough and you can just sit it down in some shallow water to run and clean itself. Only takes a few seconds of that and it’ll be clean. I do sometimes have to clean out bits of shaving cream but for the most part it gets all of it out using that method. This is a FANTASTIC travel razer. It’s compact, fairly durable, and the battery lasts for several shaves. I can shave my head about 4 or 5 times before I need to charge it again. With the pros come the cons but I’ve really only had a couple issues over the years. One being the durability of it. I dropped it one time in the shower (soap gets slippery) and it broke into several pieces. I had to look up videos to figure out how the heck to get it put back together BUT I will say it still worked after that. I’m still unsure what happened but eventually several months after dropping it, it no longer would turn on. It would turn on and run for a few seconds at first but then it stopped entirely. I don’t know if I got water in the charger port (I usually plug the charger port cover in it to protect from that) or if the drop messed it up. Either way it never worked again. I like this razor enough for its convenience though that I purchased another one and have had zero issues with the second one. If you’re looking for a real close shave I’d say go with something else. But, sometimes you don’t have time to go through the whole routine of a close shave and you’ve got places to be and things to do, THAT is when this razer shines. 9 months in and it’s still working perfectly. Very close, smooth, quick, and comfortable shave. Easy to clean, easy to hold, small enough to easily store or pack when traveling. I haven’t had to change the blades yet so it’s already paid for itself in barbershop appointments.     • Great while it lasts.
I purchased this item in September 2023. It is the first week of March 2024 and the device will not function for longer than a minute or two before it shuts off. It seems to stay on longer if I try to use it while being plugged in. I’m not sure why it stopped working but I cannot recommend a product that won’t last for longer than 5 months before needing to be replaced. Especially when this is not cheap. For additional context I used this approximately once a week; sometimes twice, while it was working. So we are talking somewhere in the neighborhood of 22-40 actual instances of usage before it’s basically become non functional. Very unacceptable. Even more additional context. When I did charge the device I made sure to remove it shortly after it charged to full - red light turns green - so the battery shouldn’t be malfunctioning already if that’s what’s causing it to not be able to stay on. I also cleaned it after every use by running it for a minute or two in a container of alcohol and water being careful to submerge only the blade component of the device. Now. With all that being said I will say the device worked pretty well for what I expected while it did work. Gave a pretty close shave with minimal knicking. I was pleased with it while it worked but for a $100 product that needs to be replaced every 5+ months… I cannot rate this higher than 1 star since even the cheap no name models can last that long. I bought this based on expectations of a quality product with good manufactured components. I was wrong. If you’re deciding between this one and a cheap $20-50 version this probably provides similar though better quality shaving but substandard longevity. ... show more

This shaver shaves my head fabulously. It’s quick and easy to clean afterwards. My only concern is I read some of the other reviews it didn’t hold up well. So far it has held up great. I get a nice clean head shave.

    • Too expensive for what you get.
I have own this product for a couple of years now, I will try to keep this review as short as possible. Lets get started with the pros and cons: Pros: Easy on your hands, very ergonomic. Easy to take apart and clean. Charges quickly. Close shave Water proof Cons: Battery life sucks. Keeps locking up on me. Keeps powering off on its own while shaving [not fun] Blades loose their sharpness too quickly. (get ready to learn how to sharp this blades) It is a good product, but it has its problems, and it does the job well. I have other shaver that the blades go for 5 month without the need of re-sharping them. After 4 shaves the blades on this unit will go dull and need to be sharpen. Would I suggest this product? Nope, it is too expensive for what you get and their are better shavers out on the market better than this one. ... show more
