First off, where were things like this when I was having babies? Okay. Got that out. Now I can tell you what I think about the product. I have been waiting forever for Clorox wipes to come back into stock at a REGULAR price because I ain't rich. Good thing I wasn't holding my breath. I'd have been in that jar on the mantle by now. I decided, in my infinite wisdom, that I'd just make my own wipes. My husband, the health inspector (not a joke...he really is), explained that you really don't need much bleach when making a solution with which to clean. I knew this, but gotta give him props. Lol So my brain started working overtime. (Scary, scary thing. Causes way too much smoke...) We had to switch to those folded paper towels and dispenser at the beginning of the pandemic because there are so many morons in America who think it's wonderful business to buy everything up when it's cheap then get rich off the people who struggle. Well, we refuse to give greedy people any more than we have to, so we innovate. I bought this container, cut about 2 inches off a package of my folded towels, put them in the container. I mixed a solution using bleach and laundry detergent and LOTS of water and soaked the towels. By the way. Don't mix bleach with anything other than water and laundry detergent. No other soaps, okay? You don't want to kill yourself, just the germs on your hard surfaces. Voila! Homemade disinfectant wipes. And you can see how many are left because you can see through the container. It will hold 1/2 a "loaf" of the Scott brand towels. You have to cut some off (I use the part we cut off either in our worm farm or compost it). But you can make your own wipes a LOT cheaper. Are they the same? Nah. We know that. But they work. And it's better than nothing. If I'd had this little dispenser 30 years ago when my daughter was born, I don't know if I'd known what to do. If you're a parent looking for a wet wipe dispenser, this one's amazing. Easy to open, keeps contents moist, etc. Buy it. If you're looking for a wipe dispenser if you're a camper, hiker, or just like to keep wipes in your car, buy it. If you're a 51 year old who loves to talk (can you tell?) and you want to spend your mornings leaving reviews on Amazon, buy it. Oh good grief. Just add it to your cart and buy it. Okay? Bought 6 months before my baby was born and occasionally grabbed a wipe in that time. If not used often, the top wipe would dry out but the rest would still be wet (which I'd expect and happy the rest were good.) Now for what dropped the rating. Not even 3 months after baby was born and we used the container every day, the rubber lining started falling apart and now there is no rubber left. We haven't had any issues with drying out but we also use multiple wipes a day. Even with that issue I'd recommend this product but still frustrated it broke just 3 months in. ... show more

I purchased this to use to hold wipes. Sometimes they rip when trying to pull them out and sometimes they dry out. This wasn’t my favorite thing and I expected more out of it. The container is nice.

    • What I was looking for but doesn't always dispense one at a time.
Since they don't sell wipes with the pop up lid anymore I quickly had to find a dispenser and after looking at multiple on Amazon, this dispenser had the most reviews. I love the one touch pop up top. The only thing I was disappointed in was the that it doesn't just dispense one at a time.

I bought this back in May of 2021 used as a primary wipes holder for several months then moved it to a spare. Kirkland wipe packages are almost too big to fit and the first few are a pain to remove but after that I works great. Keeps in moisture so the wipes don't dry out. Overall it's worked well up until probably the past couple weeks when the rubber part tore pretty bad. I think im going to cut it and continue to use. Wish they weren't so expensive otherwise I would have at least 3. ... show more
