The X-Rap is a jerkbait meant to mimic an injured baitfish. Your success with the lure is going to depend on the action you impart with it. So if you're quite familiar with jerkbaits, you should be able to impart the proper cadence to catch fish. If you're a beginner, you might have to practice a bit before finding any kind of success.
