I had a hard time deciding when it came time to get one of these warmers. There are so many to choose from, and the reviews can get overwhelming bc some discuss every minute detail and make me second guess or consider things I'd never consider normally lol. I finally chose this Hiccapop one. It is a well known brand, had a lot of reviews in general, had a lot of GOOD reviews, and I felt like I could rely on it being what I needed with no annoying surprises. It came via one-day shipping which is always nice, even though Amazon almost always delays items that come via one-day. But this actually managed to get here! And it's a good thing bc we really needed it. My baby son is 2 weeks old and the freeing cold wipes were making him insane... with good reason I'd imagine. I kept putting it off buying one of these, and I feel badly now that I waited so long bc these warm wipes have completely changed out diaper experience. They are warm, but not hot. I have had no issue yet with anything drying out or browning, or needing any kind of "pillow" at the bottom. The directions that came with the item suggest pouring some water over the wipes to keep them moist. So far I have not had to do that. I have been using this warmer for just about 5 days now. It has started to get kind of cold around here (LI, NY) these days especially at night and early morning, and the wipes were previously absolutely freezing cold. I even considered microwaving some, but didn't. This warmer has really made an enormous difference and I know his little pee pee isn't being shocked to death with freezing wipes anymore. The pack I have in there now is a Huggies Naturals I think. Theres 45 wipes in there or something, and that is within the range the warmer can hold. I also have packages of Water Wipes, that Ill try to use once this set runs out. Overall, we love it. The wipes are ready to rock each time I grab one. They don't stick up through the slot much at all, but I have come to realize that's a good thing bc otherwise hal the wipe would not be being warmed below the slot. So only just enough poked through to pinch and bring up, and it works out perfectly. One thing I did notice is that the minute you take the wipe out of the warmer to use it, it starts to get cold instantly. It feels amazing when i grab it, and by the time Im done using it, maybe 5 seconds later, it is already cooled down considerably. So use them really quickly. You can't take out 100 wipes all at once (and sometimes we do when we know there's an explosion to be dealt with) and expect them to all be warm for the 5 minutes they're out of the warmer. They get cold again real quick. Generally i like this item a lot. Its a little big, and clearly from my photos you can tell that I also need some of shelf lol. I had one up in a corner and it fell so Ive just been using any space left in the changing tables as storage for now. But hey it all fits, and its all works perfectly. The light feature used at night is nice and I used it for the first time last night. The auto shut off is clutch bc at 2:45 am I am not trying to remember to turn off tiny lights. The big compartment lid locks on the sides, it takes .5 seconds to deal with those when the time comes to refill. Definitely recommend. Update 4 months later**** Stillloving this warmer. It is on and plugged in virtually every second of everyday for the last 4 months. We went away for a few days and I unplugged it b it’s been on every other minute besides that. I have never encountered any browning or drying out of wipes. Every wipes is just as fresh feeling as before. I have used several varieties of wipes as well. Some thread through the pull-out section better than others. Huggies and pampers were fine. Water wipes were okay. One thing I would say that’s happened a lot is the wipes not releasing nicely from their folder stack situation. One wipe will be perfectly through the pullout and then the next one will not make it to the pullout. I have to stick my fingers in there and fish around til I feel a lose flap of wipe and pull it up like that. Other times I do that and wind up pinching too many and forcing like three wipes out of it. That would be my only annoyance. Otherwise I deal with it quickly and it’s over. I’m so grateful for a warming feature now that jts January and it gets cold. Baby is happy too :) Update after 16 months of usage!: Not only has this warmer held up for 16 months, we are now using it for a new baby, a girl, that arrived last week. I thought my son was bad w the cold wipes? She is a nut. The warm wipes have completely changed our diapering experience w her. I’d imagine a girls diapering experience is different feeling snd being a girl myself I can appreciate a warm cloth down there and not something freezing cold smearing things around. She is so much calmer. I had tried to get away w not buying another one but it was pretty clear she needed one. Unfortunately we needed it ASAP and the holidays and COVID vaccine roll out was causing major shipping delays and I said screw it and took my poor sons warmer and moved it into her room. Luckily he has grown into a totally chill dude and doesn’t even care anymore so it’s actually worked out fine. He has a long floorboard heater behind his dresser and changing table so the package of wipes into it at the back edge warms up itself lol win/win for everyone! I continue to have no problem w wipes burning or browning. I think of one of the key features of this warmer is that the warmth is generated from the top down, not from the bottom up. That is why I believe there is no browning or drying out wipes. I’ve never had to pour water on the wipes. Every single time they are warm and moist. UPDATE: I've been using this for almost 5 years now with two babies, and it's just as great as it was when I first reviewed it. No worries about overheating or fires like the Prince Lionheart that gets charred inside. The rubbery part at the top where you pull the wipes out has started to wear down and rip away from the plastic lid. When I wrote the company to see if I could buy a replacement lid, they offered to replace the whole thing for free, 4 years after I bought it. Amazing company. I wish I could give more stars. Highly recommend, would buy again (but I don't need to!) and will gift to others. I've been using this for 8 months now, and I have no complaints. I originally bought it to keep my reusable flannel wipes wet and available, but they developed a weird mildew smell. (It seems maybe that particular fabric shouldn't be kept in a warmer?) So I started using it for disposable wipes instead. Here are the things I like: The temperature. I've seen some complaints about the wipes not being warmed "enough," but I don't know who would want to use a wipe hotter than this on their baby's skin?! Sometimes I have to give it a second to cool off before using it. (Yes, wipes cool off quickly once removed from the warmer. But that is all wipes and all warmers. I feel like the people who complain about it must have unrealistic expectations about how long a wipe is actually capable of staying warm once removed from a warmer.) The design. I like that there is a top you open to insert a new pack of wipes, and that it locks closed. I like that the top you open to retrieve a wipe is a simple flap. It's easy to access yet also "keeps" the wipes well enough that they don't dry out. If I accidentally pull out an extra wipe, I can just close the flap over it and use it next time. It stays wet and warm as long as the flap closes over it, even without shoving it back inside. Very fast and easy to use this dispenser. The heating element. I don't know what makes this warmer different, but the heating element feels safe, and I never worry that it will burn my wipes. It's been plugged in continuously for 8 months, never unplugged, and it's pretty much in the same shape as day one. Whereas I almost bought a used Prince Lionhart from a consignment sale once, until I opened it and saw that the plastic on the bottom was all charred and warped, and it had a burning smell (YIKES). This one only keeps the top three or four wipes warm, but generally that is all I need, and I actually like that it's a mild enough heat that I don't worry one bit that it might burn my house down. Also uses very little energy. The light, I don't really use. It doesn't seem bright enough to illuminate a diaper change, unless maybe you were to turn the warmer sideways and angle it directly at your baby's bum. But I have a different nightlight I use in the nursery already, so that doesn't bother me. I didn't buy it for the light. All in all, I recommend if you are looking for a wipe warmer! This has been a lifesaver for diaper changing. I initially skipped getting a wipe warmer for my baby because I thought it was unnecessary and kinda bougie. Around 1 year, my baby started being incredibly hard to change when he had poops. He would flail and kick and roll around, and I realized it was due to the cold wipes we used. After a few weeks of getting a cup of hot water to dip his wipes during changings, I finally relented and got this wipe warmer. My GOD, what a difference. My son no longer freaks out during changing, and I know it's because of the wipe warmer bc he still gives his grandparents a hard time when he's over at their house (with no warmer). If you're debating on getting this -- just get it. The fact I don't have to do WWE wrestling moves a baby every time he poops is well worth the money. Those of you with baby girls, this is definitely a must! I've had this warmer for about a year now. It stays on all the time, it keeps the wipes warm, it never turns off, and I've never had any issues with it. There's a window and a little light that I can click on and off to check the amount of wipes left. And if I need to (during colder months or when the wipes get dry), I'll add some hot water to the wipes, and the warmer keeps the temp up for longer. So convenient. The only thing I regret is not getting this sooner and having it right when we brought our son home. This is a must for every new mom. And once my son no longer needs it, I'll move it to my bathroom for myself 😊 ... show more

Almost one year using the baby wipe warmer and it works perfectly fine, at the beginning it was a most have because my baby couldn’t take a cold wipe but now we used at the changing station still but we just prefer to have the wipes over there, so she still have warm and ready to wear wipes. Highly recommended, it has been connected some day 1 and it works perfectly fine, nice temperature for our wipes, value for the money on point !     • Much Better Warmer than We Had Previously

This warmer was bought to replace one that we had bought about 6 months ago that suddenly started either not warming at all or warming to much and causing a great deal more problems with turning wipe edges brown. It was not easy to actually find what we really needed as there are few warmers that are large enough to also accommodate adult wipes and our chronically ill daughter is a bit to old for the baby size. Although there are many, many brands of adult wipes and/or disposable wet wash cloths and many brands even offer their own non heated 'holders' it seems like no one has considered that adults might find using a cold wet wipe, on any part of the body, whether a bed bath or for a wipe up, or to freshen up hands or face a bit uncomfortable. Hospitals have warmers which warm up 50-100 packs of wipes at a time but that is much more than one home would really need. So we had originally went with a baby wipe warmer and just looked for the one that had the largest inside area of the wipe size and to get that we actually had to give up on any of the other features that we might have liked to have. When searching this time we noticed that Hiccapop Baby Wipe Warmer and Dispenser mentioned that it could use adult wipes, which it can depending on the wipes dimensions but it also had a better way of warming wipes so some were not warm and others were note, and that it had a way to lock the top closed do that when you pull a wipe through the dispenser you don't end up flipping the entire kid open and end up just grubbing a few layers of wipes rather than actually getting individual wipes, one at a time, which does add up in cost with wasted wipes. While the nighttime changing light was something I figured we would have no use for, but my daughter immediately fixated on the fact that she could turn the light on and immediately see if the warmer to have more wipes added and it was bright enough taht even in the middle of the day or with the room lights all on, it was bright enough to give a clear view of the wipes and how many were there. She had had more than one frustrating occasion when she would need some wipes and discover that there were not enough left in our old warmer for what she needed and she then had to open a new package and deal with 'cold' wipes. We have only had this Hiccapop warmer in use a few days but she has complimented it and commented on how much better it was than the old one, with both the even temperature form wipe to wipe, as well as how nicely they dispensed one at a time. She was also very happy to be able to inform me this afternoon that she had checked and the warmer needed. Of course, only having had it brand new a few days I can only promise to update this is it does not last long, but given that its definitely a much sturdier construction than our previous one and appears much better made I don't expect that there will be any update like that coming soon. The other think I noticed was that when placed on a surface it is exceptionally stable, where our other one wobbled when you were getting out wipes and you felt like you had to hold the warmer with one hand while pulling out wipes with the other or it would totter and fall over. The Hiccapop warmer is well weighted so getting a wipe is definitely a one handed procedure and I am not worrying that it would move or fall while I pulled a wipe of bump into something else and knock it over. I am exceptionally happy with this purpose and would love it if this company would come up with a product especially for adult wipes but until that becomes a 'thing' in the market place, this will do very well. ... show more
