I was trying to think outside of the box for favor ideas for my 5 year old daughter's birthday party. Instead of the standard gift bag of sugary snacks and plastic toys I wanted something the kids could use over and over again, something the parents would appreciate and (BONUS) reduce the waste caused by reusable cups and juice boxes. THESE TUMBLERS WERE A HIT! First, I gave myself enough time in advance to receive the cups to check them out. Receiving them was not a problem; I actually received them a day sooner than Amazon provided. They came in a sturdy box, individually wrapped in bubble wrap and separated from the other tumblers. The packaging was nice and everything arrived in good condition. As soon as my daughter saw them I got the thumbs up approval. Next, these were super easy to clean. I had to wash 24 of these cups. I chose to do so by hand to avoid any possible water spots my dishwasher may have left. They dried nicely and are easy to assemble and disassemble with a tightly fitting lid. The lid/straw colors!!! They are vibrant and fun and a color for all the kids. There was no fighting over a color they wanted because there were two tumblers of each color. The tumblers were sleek and skinny which made for easy handling by the tiny hands. A bonus (or maybe I just didn't fully read the description) the cups came with a "Hello My Name Is" decal which I used for each kid to keep their cup identified as theirs. I also added some fun decal stickers to the table so each kid could individualize their cups. I initially planned on having each kids name printed in a decal but the little name tags that came with the cups were perfect and saved me from an extra expense. Needless to say, these were a HUGE hit with all of the kids. The parents made sure the kids were fully hydrated, the kids made sure they didn't leave their tumblers behind, and I avoided having to pick up half-drank and empty juice boxes. I had a couple of moms ask me where I got these cups because they thought it was such a fantastic idea and wanted to use it for a sibling's party. I had every intention of taking photos of the favor table, the decal set up and a finished cup. But, as parties go, I was so busy with everything else that this slipped my mind. Sorry! I purchased these skinny tumblers as holiday gifts. I was apprehensive as quality is difficult to determine when buying online. I took the chance with these and am very glad I did. They were delivered within a few days and in a very sturdy box. Each tumbler was wrapped in 2 layers of bubble wrap and a protective plastic sleeve and separated from the others with a cardboard grid. Nothing in my box came broken, not even a straw! As for the tumblers themselves, they are perfect size, seal well, and have beautiful vibrant colors. These will make excellent gifts that people will actually use. I love how skinny and sleek these tumblers are. They're very easy to hold and fit my car cup holder as well. They’re well made, beautiful colors, and well insulated. The packaging they came in was also great! I am very happy with the performance of these tumblers.

    • Approach Straws with Caution

I ordered these because I was tired of my kids picking out cheap tumblers in the dollar section of stores and random places like that which would break in some way very soon after purchasing. They have not disappointed us yet. The colors of the lids are very vibrant and fun. We seem to have received a couple of duplicate colors in place of some that are pictured, but we'll live. Unfortunately, in our household of 6, 5 will not use "girly" colors, which in our box accounts for 1/3 of the total. The lids screw on tight. Sometimes we have to take them off and put them back on because it's so tight you have to have the threads in a pretty particular starting position. This isn't really a problem unless one of the kids tries to tighten it even though it's not going on right and cracks it or something. Whether or not we encounter that issue is to be determined. The straws are of adequate length. A slight gripe of mine is that the straw colors do NOT really match the lids. Some of them we had to lay out and stare at for a while before we could decide which color lid they were intended for. I suspect this was further complicated by our repeated lid colors, as we had no repeated straw colors. They aren't a colored clear plastic like some of the product photos depict. They are actually slightly frosted and more translucent than clear. My one real complaint about the straws is that they are cut horribly. Almost all of our straws have jagged edges on the drinking end, as though when it was cut to lengths to be made into straws, someone used a cheap set of scissors. Luckily, we were able to file down the biggest offenders so that our kids don't cut their mouths on them. Overall, these tumblers seem to be functional. They aren't perfect by any means and the straws leave a LOT to be desired. If the cups and lids hold up to our household usage for a while, I might look into replacement straws. ... show more
