I showed her how to bend the foam sticker sheets so she could get them off more easily and she went to town! This is a good gift or great to store in a closet or bookshelf if you minimally host children. Everything fits in the box. It's a tight fit so you'll likely not get all of it back in the box after the craft. This is a rainy day craft kit. Assembly/assistance may be required for super little. Yes there's no mess from, paint/markers but, its hundreds of shape stickers you remove from a bigger piece of colored foam. Biggest gripe: The backing paper is not cut super cleanly, so you may accidently remove the backing while freeing the shapes if you pop the shapes off. I think it's intentional. Instead carefully peel the large overall shell while leaving the shapes on the paper after that this will be a great little activity. I've had an item change on me in the far past. This foam sticker art is pretty cute! I think it's more appropriate for younger kids (4 years and younger), but my son enjoyed being able to do it independently. In addition to artistic expression and creativity, this is great for practicing patterns and symmetry.

These animals are adorable! When you are done decorating them with the foam stickers you can use the back of the picture board to create patterns with any leftover stickers or use the back to create art with clay or self stick rhinestones, etc. Very versatile!! On the Amazon page for this product it shows a child with a pile of punched out foam stickers, so I thought I would do that too. No. They are not easy to punch out and it is better in my opinion to just peel the sticker from the backing sheet. The child I will be doing this with has very little patience, so I thought it would help to have all the stickers punched out. Each of the 8 foam sheets are identical with the shapes provided…stars, clouds, triangles, half circles, diamonds, circles of different sizes, a tic tac shape, and an egg shape. A younger child will need help to get the stickers off as they have a few teeny tiny nubs where they are attached to the sheet. Over all this is going to be a fun craft to do with my grandkids, the oldest being 5 years old. It is simple and colorful and the animals have cute little faces. The picture boards are nice and thick and easy to work with. I would purchase this again.

This was a fun project to do. I love having the hard boards for the kids to decorate on instead of paper. The sticker foams were hard for me to see to get off the foam. We were able to use this to create patterns (which was recommended on an idea sheet that came with it.)

My toddler is 2.5 a little under the suggested age of 3 but he enjoys this craft. He loves sea creatures and stickers so he was excited about decorating these boards. The box shows some pretty intricate designs that older kids could do. My guy just sticks the stickers all over but still keeps him happy for a while. The downside is the stickers are quite hard to get off the sheet so a younger kid will need help.

I ordered this for my daughter who falls below the recommended age of 3 and she loves it. The set comes with several sheets of die cut foam that has adhesive on the back so that you peel and remove the foam from the sheet. It includes 2 glitter encrusted foam sheets and 6 regular foam sheets. If you don not want to spend the rest of your child's life cleaning glitter off things then I'd recommend not giving them the glitter sheets. They stick to the foam decently well, but like all things glitter they will shed. The set also comes with a book that they can use to stick the foam cut outs. I suppose its more of a one or two time use type of thing because while you can stick the foam stickers back in the sheet, on some sheets there are really tiny cut outs and you probably won't want to spend the time and effort to stick something a few millimeters wide back on to the sheet in its former place trying to fit it back in the foam and then repeating that process a hundred times (or more) for each sheet. I'd take a picture but it is really hard to see how small some of the designs are on an unused foam sheet. Some are the size of a pencil eraser and some are bigger than that, but either way there are a LOT of cut outs and tiny pieces. If you are worried about your child eating the tiny pieces then I'd avoid this toy because again, there are a lot of foam cutouts included on the tiny sheets. If your children are old enough to know better than to eat foam stickers, and they like arts and crafts or designing their own art work then this makes for a good way for them to create something. Just remember that while you can technically reuse some of the cut outs, you can't really put them back and probably will resort to leaving them stuck inside the book. I'd give it 5 stars despite the small issues because my daughter likes it.
