Top Amazon Reviews

  • Worth the investment!
I requested this $79 (at the time) "Ski Rack for Garage-Freestanding Snowboard Rack" in exchange for a Vine review. I'm stoked that I did because, although we don't have ski's nor snowboards, we DO have wakeboards and wakeskates. Thinking it possibly could work for something we did have and wanted to store more attractively than just precariously leaning them up against the garage wall. Assembly took me a little over an hour. I assembled mine with the shelves on the right side and after totally screwing that up had to unassembled and reassemble to get it to the right. That didn't take too long and I don't mind doing it to get it right. The screws for the metal pieces and the wood screws all went in without a hitch. Instructions were pretty simple. You just have to think it through while you're doing it if you're like me and aren't like a construction worker person who does this all the time. They give you the L shaped "screwdrivers" that you need. Construction seems pretty solid. The whole thing, once assembled is not hard to move around but it is well built, not too heavy. It didn't fit (too large) in the area I originally planned for it so moved it to the other side and its perfectly placed. I was able to easily load 5 wake skates onto the wide portion in the front and back of that area. The bottom has a pad that you can place down to prevent scratches to your boards and the back and middle divider pieces have foam sticky sheets that you wrap around so when the board touches it won't scratch them. Nice thoughtful touch. For the shelves I put my son's 2 welding helmets and nothing else yet. The other 2 shelves would be a great place for his welding boots or some other type of work boots. As soon as my husband came home he saw it and was impressed at how good it looked and more organized it was. Made me feel great. I'd definitely recommend this organizer! ... show more

  • Modern Design
I really like the design of the rack. However, I was expecting a more durable heavier rack for outdoor use.

  • Who Needs a Gun Safe? My Off-Label Ski Rack
So, I needed a place to store my rifles. Now, I could've gone with one of those fancy gun safes, but let's be honest, they're pricey and they scream "I've got guns in here!" Besides, I like things a little more... unconventional. That's when I stumbled across this ski rack. Yeah, you heard that right, a ski rack. But hear me out. This thing is built like a tank. Solid steel frame, sturdy base, and those arms meant for skis? Perfect for cradling my rifles. Plus, it's got these little hooks and shelves for all my accessories - ammo boxes, cleaning kits, you name it. Assembly was a breeze. Even with my two left hands, I had it up and running in no time. And let me tell you, it's a space saver. My rifles used to be leaning against the wall in the corner of my locked closet, taking up valuable real estate. Now, they're neatly organized on this rack, and I've got more room for my other gear. Now, I'm not saying it's perfect. The slots for the skis are a bit narrow for some of my larger rifles, but I made it work with a little bit of creative positioning. And the top shelf is a bit shallow, so I wouldn't put anything too heavy up there. But overall, I'm thrilled with my "off-label" ski rack. It's functional, it's discreet, and it's got a touch of that "if you know, you know" vibe that I appreciate. If you're looking for a unique and secure way to store your firearms, I'd say this is worth considering. Just don't tell the neighbors I gave you the idea. ... show more

  • A Surprisingly Versatile Storage Rack for Skiers and Non-Skiers Alike
Pros: Holds a wide variety of gear (or other items if you're creative like me). Freestanding design—no need to drill into walls. Durable powder-coated steel construction with soft edges to protect gear. Spacious shelving for boots, helmets, and accessories. Easy-to-follow assembly instructions, with all tools provided. Adjustable design lets you customize shelves for your needs. Cons: Assembly takes some time due to the number of parts. Large footprint might not fit every space without adjustments. The Details: The TECWARE Ski Rack for Garage isn’t just for skis! While its main purpose is organizing snowboards, ski boots, helmets, and goggles, I’ve found it doubles as a handy organizer for everything from tools to lumber. Its freestanding design saved me from drilling into my garage walls—a major win for anyone who prefers to avoid unnecessary DIY projects. Assembly was straightforward, though it did take a little time due to the number of pieces. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary tools were included, which I appreciated. Once set up, the rack felt sturdy and stable, thanks to its powder-coated steel frame. It’s clear the designers put thought into protecting gear, with foam padding on contact points to prevent scratches and a non-slip mat on the base. The versatility is a highlight. I’ve used the shelving for everything from boots and helmets to spare tools, while the large open spaces make it easy to store bulkier items. The design is surprisingly attractive—practical enough for a garage but sleek enough for an entryway or mudroom. Rating: 4.5/5 Whether you’re storing ski gear or repurposing it for household items like me, this rack is a practical and well-designed solution. It’s sturdy, versatile, and offers plenty of room to keep your space tidy. Assembly takes a bit of effort, but the result is well worth it. ... show more
