These are really a great option! Not only do they look great - they are fully functional for those of us who absolutely hate things on the ground! We have cross country skis (thin) and water skis (fat) and the grabbers work for both - although since water skis have a keel it is best to hang separately. They put no pressure on the tips - which most hanging posts do - and you can arrange them to take up minimal space on your wall by adjusting hanging heights. I have 4 total grabbers and they’re fantastic. I mounted them to a 2x6 and then mounted the 2x6 to the wall in my basement and they hold all of our skis perfectly. They fit my wives skis (elan rip stick 102), as well as mine (enforcer pro @ 189cm/115mm, Salomon QSTs 106mm, and my black crows 98mm) No slipping, no awkward pressure. I was hesitant to buy these because of the price, but they were worth it. They feel high quality, look great for skii/snowboard display, and free up so much space. I love how there is a hook for pole storage and the hanger itself has a killer silicone grip. They also have a small loop for a strap to extra secure them, but I wish for the price that they would’ve include a small bungee cord or strap with the kit. We had to go buy some small bungee cords. Holds my skis perfectly, displays them really nicely, secure grip without a second thought. Really happy with how the hold, and I like the included pole mounts on either side. There's also a spot to hook a bungee if you want extra stability, but I don't see why you would need any extra grip; they recommend using a ski strap above the grabbers like I pictured, but I've used them without it and they work just as well, no difference noticed. Huge fan of these on my skis and will definitely be getting more for the rest. For snowboards, it's also a great product, I really like how it's displayed visually. However, practically it sticks a bit off the wall, so prepare for that and make adequate space to walk around or hang it over dead ground space. Also, the bottom of the board pivots naturally due to the weight and will be pressed against the wall, this isn't much of an issue, but it doesn't look as good as the skis do. I love the look of it practically floating, I currently mount my boards horizontally on my wall and probably will continue to do that for practical reasons, but I would definitely grab more of these for my boards if I had a garage or a space above some sort of stand.
