I love my winter sports and have gone through a few travel bags and this sits right up there with the expensive bags I have purchased in the past. This has plenty of room for two boards, gear, extra equipment, protective gear, clothing, socks etc etc. The outer cover I wish it was the ripstop type fabric since I do think that takes beating quite well but this should also last a while as long as it does not snag on something sharp. If it does, some duct tape should be ok in a pinch. All in all, this is a good bag for the money, has that faux leather type finish and hope that it lasts, it comes in one color, black. This bag has plenty of room and zipper is good quality. It has rolling wheels and does well with weight on the bag. If you are planning to do a lot of traveling with your gear, this is a great choice. ... show more

Flew out to Colorado last month with this bag and honestly it made a noticeable difference compared to the beat-up soft case I'd been using for years. Loading everything in one go was the part I was most skeptical about, but my skis, boots, helmet, and a bunch of smaller gear all fit without me having to Tetris anything for an hour. The adjustable length is genuinely useful and not just a marketing thing. My skis are on the longer side and it accommodated them without any fuss. The wheels are the real win here. Airport floors, parking garages, hotel lobbies, it rolls smoothly through all of it. The pull handle feels sturdy and comfortable, which matters more than you'd think when you're hauling gear at 5am. Padding is thick enough that I wasn't worried checking it at baggage, and everything arrived without a scratch. The one thing worth mentioning is that when it's fully packed it gets pretty heavy, so the shoulder strap is more of an occasional helper than a primary carrying option. That's really more a physics problem than a bag problem. Folds down flat when empty which keeps it out of the way in the off-season.
