I didn't need a watch but I wanted a watch with more features ( not sure why since I can technically challenged lol). But I took a chance on this one; it states it's for men but it's pink so figure that one out. I did the basics with putting in my profile, date/time, and starting with my walking goal. The rest I left to my 10yr old granddaughter who had no problems with finding all the apps; this is her review: (1) loves the soft pink color, (2) loves the variety of games, (3) loves the steps counter, (4) easy to sync to phone, (5) easy to make calls on, (6) likes heart rate feature. As you can see, my granddaughter easily found all these features on the phone lol. As for me, yes I liked knowing how many steps I took in 3 hours that I wore the watch (3000 steps). Perfect gift to technical lovers, persons interested in monitoring their health concerns, persons looking to hands free while exercising ( there are alot of exercise programs to select from). I wear this watch every day, and it really has so many features that are perfect for my daily lifestyle. I can check the weather, my text messages, and even talk from my watch. It monitors my heart rate and helps me stay on pace in leading a healthy lifestyle. I also love the app where you can go and download new watch faces for a different look depending on your mood or the holiday. I’m still learning all the different features, but I can tell you that the quality of this smart watch is superb. The magnetic charging cable also makes it easy to charge and not have to worry about the cable ripping out and breaking itself or the watch. The instructions for this are pretty basic, I have an android S21 and downloaded the app. They make it easy with the Qcode to just scan and it'll take you to it in the playstore. I charged it up completely and then tried to sync last night. Everything SEEMS to be added but one contact and I can't figure that out yet but I will. You can change the face of the display to QUITE a few different options. I liked that. The watch is not bulky, and the rubber wrist band didn't bother my skin and I'm allergic to rubber based products. Loved how clear I could hear someone on the phone end. Bravo to the inventors. I am still playing around with the features but I played music on it ( goes through your phone speakers or earphones). I played with Facebook messenger but you can't reply from what I'm seeing. Now with regular messages I think you can. Haven't had any to try out yet. The price point is right where I think this needs to be. I wish I could've ordered the pink one since I am a lady but black goes with everything too. I charged it last night and it was fine. I think this will make a great gift to men or women. It's pretty easy for non tech savvy people like myself. I can learn and mess with technology and fumble my way around it, but I'm not a guru. Am I pleased with the product? For now yes. I do fishing so I want to test this as well. I don't know the range of how far you have to be away from the phone before it doesn't work. I'll update more if I can. ... show more

When evaluating a product, it's always important to consider the cost in relation to expectations. Any product can be a worthy investment if the price is extremely favorable. Conversely, any product can be unworthy if the price exceeds the expectstions. The price of the SKG- V7 watch perfectly aligned with its features and functionality. Often times when we make a purchase, we faile to integrate the product into our daily lives, despite our hopes and aspirations. This is a product that defies those familiar outcomes. I've seamlessly been able to integrate it into my life with its rich feature set and host of options. For the most part, the implementation of these features is quite generic, but they are reliable. The physical watch itself offers a hard and dense screen, and a knock of the knuckles upon its surface confirms this. It is quite inert. The wristband is removable and can be customized to your stylistic preference. The only performance related issue I had was the Bluetooth audio and phone audio settings (there are two distinct settings for both making calls in general phone audio). The watch would play the phone audio even when turned off in settings. In one instance, the watch picked up a call and assumed the audio responsibilities after several minutes into the phone call. Sometimes bluetooth can function independently or automatically, but it begs the question, why even have a setting if the device will override your preference? Lastly, and maybe the most important of note, there is a passage in the privacy policy that states some of your personal data will be uploaded and stored in various servers around the world, one being China. I copied and pasted the passage and it reads as follows... "7. How your personal information is transmitted globally We operate and control facilities worldwide to process and back up personal information. Currently, we have data centers in Guangzhou, China, and Virginia, USA. For the purposes of this privacy policy, your information may be transferred to these data centers in accordance with applicable laws. "We may also share your personal information with our third-party service providers and business partners, and as a result, your information may also be transferred to other countries or regions.". These facilities may not implement the same personal information protection standards in jurisdictions around the world as your jurisdiction. Depending on different data protection laws, there may be risks. However, this will not change any of our commitments to comply with this privacy policy and to protect your personal information. Specifically • Personal information collected and generated during our operations in the mainland of the People's Republic of China will be stored in the data center operated in the Chinese Mainland, except for information allowed to be transferred across borders by applicable laws. On one hand, I find it concerning. It's extremely uncomfortable and frustrating to feel helpless and stripped of my online autonomy. On the other hand, I recognize the world is completely integrated into internet related technology. Just by getting up every morning and operating any modern system, we inherently broadcast ourselves solely by virtue of our participation. I've relinquished myself to this reality, and in many ways accepted the price of convenience. If you are also aligned with the latter, then the SKG V-7 watch is a worthy buy and a strong recommendation, especially when accounting for the price to expectation relationship. ... show more

This is an excellent stylish watch that fits comfortably on my wrist and can be worn all day without causing irritation. I love how easy it is to manage apps with the watch and answer calls while away from my phone. The screen is large and vibrant in color. All the measurements seem to be accurate with some inconsistencies here and there, but nothing to discredit the value of this watch. The battery life on this watch is exceptional - the battery seems to last over 5 days at least. It charges fairly quickly.
