These hikers are quality made, and fit well. They take some breaking in, and I'm still in that process. I only gave four stars because of narrowness of the tongue. I have a high instep, and the tongue could be a little wider to be a bit more comfortable. Otherwise...no issues with Sketchers so far.

We have been on a few hikes, and I have 4E width feet. I had to get used to the tightness around my ankles but other than that, these are great. Got them wet, no issues. Hiked in rocky areas and muddy areas, no issues. All good so far.

Finally a boot that fits nice and wide in the toe area. I suffer from neuropathy in my toes and it's hard to find shoes that have a roomy toe box. They also have a fair amount of support, but I replaced the insole with my own, and it still had enough toe space. Very comfortable, I can wear all day with any complaints. And the are definitely waterproof, and the don't make my feet sweat.

I'm a UPS package car driver. I'm walking in these for atleast 10 hours a day. Walk anywhere between 13-15k steps a day in these. My 4th pair. Already have pairs 5 and 6 ready for next week. Lasted me 3 months. Treads last for a while. The insoles gave way. I started to feel the ground more. So time for a next pairs. Totally worth it. Pretty decent keeping water out. And held up in moderate snow on the ground. I'll keep buying these for work as long as they produce them.
