Below is my review after 75 miles of hiking. For context, I've owned these boots for a few months, and all of my hiking was done in the San Tan mountains of Arizona. The trails there are a mixture of hard-packed dirt, rocky sections, sand, and steep rocky inclines with loose sand and gravel (e.g. Goldmine Mountain). Grip: 5/5 At first, looking at the photos in the listing, I wasn't sure about the grip, but the boots have done well on rocky inclines as well as sections with loose sand and gravel. Ventilation/Cooling: Neutral. I hike in Arizona where temps are normally on the warmer side. I haven't really noticed a difference in this category in the different boots I have owned. No complaints. Durability: 4/5 Overall they are holding up well. I'm not concerned about stepping on jagged/spiked rocks as the boots seem to be fairly tough, and the sides and laces are solid. There is a small section where the sole is starting to separate as shown in the photo, which seems premature, but otherwise the boots have been solid. Weight: Neutral. The boots are light and durable at the same time. No complaints. Comfort: 5/5 My goal with hiking boots is to not have to think about them when hiking, whether that means being concerned about durability, or having pinch points that poke into my feet. These boots are very comfortable, and don't hurt my feet at all. Quality: 4.5/5 Other than the small separation noted above, the boots are holding up very well after hiking many rocky trails. The tread and grip are great, and the overall construction of the materials, lace holes and laces appears to be high quality with no issues so far. The bottom line is that I have full confidence in these boots, and if this same model is available when my current boots wear out, I would buy the exact same boots again. These hiking boots fit my size 16 feet well. They are comfortable, probably thanks to the memory foam insert. They are waterproof, and I wear them while clearing snow, and they keep my feet warm and dry. They are easy to put on and lace up. But the laces, tight as I tie them, do not stay tied. And the boots have an odor that my wife finds offensive. ... show more

These Boots run a little bit large by the standards of Merrill or Keen, but once you're into the correct size, they're awesome! Broke a metatarsal and have had nerve damage since. My super wide 6E feet were able to fit into these hiking boots, and have not blown out yet. These are well-made good fitting boots and a great deal. I had issues behind the outside ankle on both boots where they rubbed into the bone, but if you just tie up to the lower laces and break them in for a few weeks, that resolves the problem. ... show more
