For the last several years I have been getting dragged down by those heavy overly-engineered shoes that promise... well, I've heard it all. And I've worn them all too. What happens first? The fabric inside the heal shreds, the stitching pops, the lining on the cushion begins to come loose, and the fact you spent way too much money on a shoe that you have to replace in four to six months drags you down even further. I found a shoe by Sketchers, the Hartnell, which I bought on a whim, is one of the best sneakers I've owned in years. It's light weight, well made, and they fit like a glove. I like the minimalist design and the soft heal which makes it so easy to slip-on as you head out the door to do whatever you wish. Its a nice casual shoe.

This is my second pair of the same Skecher product. I find them very comfortable and light. I don't require much in the way of arch support so I feel that they are adequate for my needs. I have BIG feet (size 14) and somewhat narrow. It is great that Skechers produces shoes in that size as some other brands...Nike, Under Armor, etc. don't seem to. The styles are fashionable but discreet...a big deal when you don't want to showcase your big feet. Love the easy on/off laces when I am in a hurry to get out the door with the dog. The soles are very soft and pliable and the sole tread pattern is easy to clean after being outside in the yard. The only issue is that the soles are very soft rubber (which provide great cushion) but will wear quickly if you get out on asphalt or concrete to walk. I am murder on shoes as I put a great deal of impact on my heels and I burn heels off of all my shoes. I notice this applies to my Skechers in particular as the compound of the rubber does not wear well when you walk on rough surfaces. That said, that is why I prefer them for indoor wear and not for fast paced walking. I believe they make a fine shoe for my purposes.

Being on my feet at work all day they are comfortable. This is my go to shoe for comfort. I am extremely hard on shoes and these hold up longer that others. They are light weight. Being slip on you don't have to worry about shoe coming untied.

When I ordered these, I did not realize that they don't really have shoelaces but rather bungee type material. Personally, I like to tie my shoes so I can adjust the tightness according to what I want, rather than what these want. I will say however, now that I have them I will report that they are very comfortable and although I would like to shoe to be tighter (adjustable with tied shoelaces), I think they will be okay. I'm giving it four stars because of the shoelace but I understand. That's really me not looking carefully at what I'm ordering before I order it. Nonetheless, the shoe was comfortable and fits well. Time will tell how well it wears.

This sneaker is perfect for my husband who has severe RA and is able to slip these on and off with dealing with laces. He says they're comfortable and wide enough that they don't affect his joints.

I ordered these in a size 12 because over a year ago in april 2018 my boyfriend broke his ankle in a few different spots one what the doctor told us was the round squishy fragile egg like bone in his ankle as shown in the photo he told us the bone above that from the force of how he landed on it from the fall with only a 6 foot fall shatter that bone and shredded his nerves all in his foot. To this day his foot is still swollen and nerves are still growing back he still has a decent amount of pain when walking all day at work. So I got him these in hopes that they will help him while he is on his feet he usually wears an 11 1/2 but the 12's fit like his usual size I was hoping for a little more room for him because of the swelling but he said they so far work good he tried to wear them yesterday for the day while out and had much less pain than normal, he said he realized this entire time with the other sneakers he had he was not putting any weight at all on his heel which he realized that when he first put his foot in this sneaker and his heel went down onto the heel in the shoe he had a sharp pain go through his foot but he said he believes this will actually help to relieve some of the pressure on his foot since it has a higher arch and he hopes it will reduce the swelling. When I got the package it was so light I thought it was literally empty inside. But anyways sorry for the long rant and review this has only been day one with them but he has high hopes and so do I.
