  • Smaller chapter book
Format: Paperback
I was expecting a slightly bigger chapter book with more pages. This one is geared to perhaps 7-9 yrs olds. Still, it's not easy to find a little gift for lovers of figure skating, and I was glad to find this.

Girls who want to know what figure skating is really like will feel as though they have been cheated. And they will be right! No character development. No authenticity in the setting. Next to no description. The author cheated just like a skater who cheats the take-off edge, turning a Lutz into a "flutz." A waste of $4.58. ... show more
