    • Comprehensive set for a reasonable price
This is a complete set of pads ideal for a beginner skater. They are well made, and were carefully and neatly packed in a reusable storage bag. The color is fun and they seem to be of good quality. I've worn them, and found them comfortable for my amount/level of speed and exertion, but haven't fallen on them yet. So I can't give firsthand feedback on their fall protection. I'll update this if (when?) they experience use in a fall. The only small issue is that the palm portion of the wrist guards isn't quite tight enough on me- everything else fits quite well, and the wrist portion of the wrist guard is fine. Perhaps I have oddly narrow hands? It's easily addressed with some additional velcro sewed on the strap to give a longer surface for stretching it tighter, and it's nothing I'd fault the manufacturer for or send them back over. They fit in a protective way, I'd just find them a little more comfortable if they had that extra inch of tightening at the palm. For those comparing sizes, I am 5'8", about 195 lbs, and ordered the L/XL. I don't think I would want to go smaller in the knee pads, and as I mentioned the wrist section of the hand guard fits well. ... show more

This set of protective gear is ideal because the fabric is durable, thick, and has a beautiful color. What I liked most is that the elastic band protects the entire area and prevents you from getting injured.

    • Colorful Plus Sized Option
I just received these, and I'm pretty stoked. I didn't have worries about the elbow or wrist guards fitting (wrist guards are actually way too big, but I'm disproportionate) so I only measured my legs and prayed these would fit. I knew I didn't want to go with a solid black set of I didn't have to, so I went with the hopeful option. 20in around the upper knee area, I knew these would be snug (prefect!) And I honestly didn't read the description fully to realize these are the sleeve style pads with velcro secures. But they fit! They fit, they fit!! And still allow a decent range of motion! I can't wait to try quad skating now that I have a way to save myself from my lack of grace! 4 stars for limited colors and the fact that the wrist guards are huge compared to the knee and elbow pads. I love that the wrist guards work with my watch on and it matches my watch band. I'll try to add photos or update the review as I actually wear these and attempt skating! Wish me luck! ... show more

Fit great on my 9 year old who is tall and thin as a rail. He should be able to grow into them for the next couple of years as well with the adjustable straps. He said they are comfortable as well!

I got other ones that were itchy like you had to have long sleeves and pants and would move out of place so was like need sleeves. Got these they work great fit 8 year old great (SIZE SMALL) but his uncle whos 9 tried them on and they were a pretty snug fit still fit great just lil snug.
