    • Does The Job
I bought this for the small Sjoberg workbench in my garage workshop when I started using the shop more. It adds 4 small storage drawers, useful for keeping frequently used items at hand, and an enclosed cupboard for somewhat larger tools. While a shop made cupboard would likely be more robust, I prefer spending my time making things for the house rather than making things for the shop. The cupboard went together quickly and fit exactly in the space of the old stringers (which are discarded). Be aware that the kit uses the shelf from the original workbench as the back panel. Mine had long since given up the ghost, so I had to make a new panel for the back. The panel pieces are kind of lightweight but the drawer boxes are nicely milled with box joints at the corners. I do worry about the longevity of the plastic clips that hold the box corners together but a little glue will hold the boxes together if the need arises. The drawers don't operate very smoothly out of the box, but a little Johnson's paste wax on the rails and runners resolves that issue completely. ... show more

    • Not worth the money
Dictions are ridiculous and hard to follow. Parts are sub quality. Definitely not worth the money. They need to design one of these with better quality and as a stand alone unit at a lower price then it would be worth it.

    • Good addition to your workbench
The Sjöberg cupboard is a definitively a good addition to your Nordic Plus Workbenche. Not only does it provide some conveniant storage space, but it does greatly reduce the racking of the bench. I actually do not recommend buying the bench wihtout the cupboard because it is not heavy enough. Assembly is easy and can be done in less than an hour. ... show more

    • Great addition to my workbench
My monthly tool budget made me buy the workbench and the cupboard seperately and i worked on it with and without the cupboard and you notice the difference immidiately. The workbench is much more rigid, won't slide when you put some elbow steam in your plane and you have storage right underneath the place where u use them the most. At first i had flashbacks of a fierce IKEA furniture struggle but but once finished i was pleasantly surpriced with it's functionality and sturdyness.     • Maybe a lapse in quality/service?
I received this through amazon about two weeks ago. Same good materials the bench is made from, BUT - One of the small, rear plastic drawer clips was missing from the sealed bag of assembly parts. So, I got on the Sjoberg site, went to their contact us section, and sent them a polite e-mail requesting the spare part and asking another question. That was over a week ago, and so far no response. Also, the cuboard sliders were a bit warped/curved, and some of the end pieces were dented at the corners, but I can live with that. BTW - The box was factory sealed, with straps intact, and no apparent shipping damage, so all this is likely factory quality issues. Also the brief assembly document stated that you use the new kit cupboard rails and set aside the original rails that came with the bench. Of course the new cupboard rails are several inches shorter, which will have the effect of narrowing the width of the base, which in my opinion is not a good thing. So, as happy as I am with the bench, my recommendation would be to take the extra time, and make your own set of drawers. The quality of your design and work can be no less than theirs. Poor workmanship, Too many parts made from inferior material for the price. I would not recommend it. I returned it.
