Got this for my son who’s been dabbling in some golf lately…it’s a fun little game The wife was at a ladies’ gathering so the boys and I set this up to chip from the living room…over the love seat and kitchen counter/bar…and onto the mat spread out on the kitchen floor. In my first pic you can just barely see my son’s ball arcing down and about to land on the mat in the kitchen. They played this game for way too long… Positives: —Simple game that is quite fun and surprisingly addictive…and doesn’t hurt for practicing your chipping game —Works indoors or outdoors…the little plastic balls included won’t hurt much of anything on errant shots (and some of us had more than our fair share) —Nearly instant setting it up or putting it up Negatives: —The included chipping wedge is nearly worthless. It’s flimsy anyway but ours had a piece that the threading was stripped on or something because it wouldn’t tighten so the head jumped around when swinging it. Thankfully we already had a couple of wedges we could use so it didn’t matter —The included balls don’t stick super well to the mat…not too big a deal on flat ground but they might roll if it’s on a slope. Even on flat ground they can roll some of the shot is not a nice “chip” arc (which could be a good thing I suppose…if you want it to stick where it lands you have to get that nice arc on it). Fun game overall and comes in handy for rainy days, nighttime, and/or indoor chipping practice.

This is a great set. The design on the play mat is the best I have seen. Compared to others, it's not child-like so it makes it a fun, active game for adults and children alike. The play mat is nice quality and I like that you can either lay it on the ground or hang it for different types of play. The set comes with everything you need - balls, golf club, tees, dry erase score card and stakes to hold down the play mat. It also has a nice bag to keep all of the pieces together and it makes it easy to store and to take with you to a park or another gathering at family/friends' homes. I like games that get people outside and moving around. These activities help make fun memories for all - at least in my family, where everyone is hilarious. I'm glad we got this and I'm sure we will have great fun with it - if we can keep the dogs from stealing the balls!!

My kids and I had a fun time playing with this on Christmas day. It takes a little bit of adjustment to get used to chipping it off the mat, but once you get the hang of it the game is a lot of fun. I like that it comes with a lot of different colored balls so you can have multiple players playing against each other at the same time. The one downside we all noticed right away is that the golf club itself feels a bit flimsy. I wish it was made a little better and was more secure when you screwed the parts together. It comes with a bag to store everything in when you are finished playing too, which is nice. I think this needs to be about half the price that it is to make this a good deal. There is not much to this to warrant charging over $65.
