Ok so I got this simply because I like my gear to match. I started using Sitka this year because I’m tired of being cold so figured I would spend the extra money. They make the best gear in my personal opinion. Because I outfitted myself with their clothing I figured I would buy this pack. My main decision was the price. It’s on the lower end compared to their other packs. For the typical whitetail hunter this is perfect. I didn’t need something huge. It’s made like their fanatic line of hunting cloths. I don’t believe this is waterproof. So if it’s raining or if it’s snowing then your gear will get wet. I do believe they make a cover for it which is on their website. May be on Amazon to. It does look great and it’s super comfortable to pack your gear in with. It does have straps so you can strap your bow to the pack. I have the Sitka bow sling so I have not tried that yet. Here in the next couple days I will see how my bow fits on the pack and then update my review. I’ve tried packs with that system before and never liked how my bow sits and straps down but that’s just me. One awesome thing about this pack though is there is no metal buckles. Everything is silent even the material so you can stay silent while walking and while up in the stand. Nothing worse than buckles clinking off your tree stand as your getting situated for the hunt. I’ll assure you this is silent. If you have the extra money I would definitely recommend getting. If your on a budget then I’ll say there is nothing wrong with getting a pack off of Cabellas. They have great packs at a fraction of the cost that offer the same technology. If your like me and you want a great pack that is silent and matches your gear then just purchase it.
