  • Stays Put and Locks down
Style: ARRI Mount
This monitor mount differs from the typical mounts The Arri pin mount insures the mount will not loosen and slide out like the ones that are hot shoe mounted. The twist knob on the side is also a nice touch as it allows you to lock down your desired position. Tilt and swivel tension can be adjusted with the included allen key and when mounted on the front of a top handle it gives an ideal viewing position for your monitor. Also, cheaper than the Smallrig version. ... show more

  • Why Gamble?
Style: ARRI Mount
I have a Ninja V which is a great addition to both my still and video work. Problem has been my attachment point I was using wasn't filling me with confidence. It's a mini ball head and I have to keep tightening it down every 30 minutes or so. It just doesn't have that iron grip. So when I saw this was made by Sirui, I made the order. I have one of their anamorphic lenses, and I know they are a serious company. I was not disappointed by this product in any way. It has nice machining to it, and the knobs are super gnarley with 'allen holes' to really snug it all down. It clamps in place with ARRI guiding posts, so once tightened, there can be no rotation at all...wonderful! The device is stiff...and I think they did that on purpose and I thank them for it. I don't want it to ever be loose. I have a 500 buck monitor on there. I'd rather have to apply more pressure to get the angles I want, knowing there is zero slop, and there will be no future problems with it becoming loose. Well done Sirui! ... show more

  • Very, very stable
Style: ARRI Mount
This is one of the sturdier pivots I've come across. I like it! Great for holding monitors or other accessories in whatever position you want them! Quality seems high, I like it!

  • Sturdy but was stuck at first
Style: ARRI Mount
Solidly build and feels sturdy enough to use with a monitor. It's all metal construction and I like that it swivels sideways and tilts back and forth. The tension can be set using a hex screw, and they include the wrench also. Tension for the swivel is located underneath the tilting part, so you have to tilt it out of the way to access it. I like the larger 3/8" screw for mounting to a cage or plate, and that it has anti-twist locating pins. Some possible quality control issues and problems, which I took a star off for: 1. It would not tilt at first. I loosened both the knob and the hex screw and it still wouldn't budge. I had to mount an accessory plate to each end and use those as leverage to get enough force to un-stick whatever was wrong with it. Then it loosened up as expected and I was able to re-adjust the tension with the hex screw. Possibly a stripped screw or something was interfering with it. 2. The tilt knob doesn't loosen all the way. It just stops turning counter clockwise. Not sure if that's intended or again, if there is a screw stripped inside. Overall I do like the quality and design of this. I just hope after my 2 problems with it, that it lasts over time. ... show more

  • Well built monitor mount
Style: ARRI Mount
The SIRUI AM-MTA ARRI Monitor clamp is a well built little piece of hardware. It's perfect for mounting a monitor on my top handle with 3/8" holes. It has pan and tilt available with tilt locking. The pan and tilt were a bit stiff to me out of the box, but a little tweaking with the included hex key and I had the feel I wanted. It hasn't loosened up on me yet. The construction is all metal which is quite nice and not necessarily a given in accessories at this price point. The thumb knobs for the mounting screws are very well machined for easy grip and the whole mount feels like quality. This is my first piece of SIRUI gear. It seems like this may be a brand worth paying attention to for well made accessories at a reasonable price. ... show more

  • A quality monitor mount that's not cold shoe based
Style: ARRI Mount
There are lots of choices when it comes to monitor mounts that use a cold shoe. But fewer choices when it comes to screw in mounts, which is what I wanted, so I was glad to see this mount. With my particular rig, I have many places to attach this mount and found a perfect place for the majority of shooting cases. This seems to be a quality monitor mount from a brand I trust. Much my rig components are from Sirui and have served me well. I also like this style of monitor mount that will move without having to turn knobs, etc. It's more friction based and will rotate and tilt pretty easily. The tilt is a little stiff so I try to grab the monitor from the bottom close to the mount to avoid any undue stress on the monitor threads. This will probably loosen up a bit over time. Overall I'm totally satisfied with this mount and it was a great match for my rig-mounting needs. ... show more

  • Great stuff
Style: ARRI Mount
SIRUI has a great quality of accessories and this one is another one. Very well built, it fits on my small rig and Tilta handled. It swivels very easily and is strong enough to keep my monitor steady in one position. It's a big deal the fact that can be attached either sideways or long ways. A +

  • SIRUI Does Not Disappoint
Style: ARRI Mount
I have a few items from SIRUI including one of their APSC Anamorphic lenses. Their quality is up there with any Photo/Video manufacturer. This monitor mount is no exception. I use my phone as a monitor (Monitor + App) and this device with a phone clamp makes mounting this on a couple of my rigs a piece of cake. The fit and finish are top notch and it is priced competitively. Good value! ... show more
