The high-waisted fit is flattering and the fabric has that smooth “buttery soft” feel that makes them comfortable to wear for long periods. They also stretch well and move comfortably without feeling restrictive. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the material is thinner than I expected and may not feel as supportive or opaque as more premium leggings, especially during certain movements or brighter lighting. I have now purchased 7 pairs of these amazingly soft high waisted leggings - one for every day of the week. The waistband can pull up above the abdominal area (healing from a recent operation), be folded over to hit right at the waist, or folded down to offer a bit of compression for the lower abdominal area. I wash in cold water and air dry and they still look new.
