Update. The seller contacted me and offered to send a refund or replacement unit. As I had already bought a replacement unit they sent me a refund. Bought this in July of last year. Installed it on my Jeep that I only drive durning the summer. Started the Jeep up for the first time this year and doesn’t work. Checked all the wiring and it all leads back to the radio. Connects well with my phone. Can tell the difference from the old one I had in my pontoon. Display can be hard to see but I remember how many times to hit the button anyway to get to BT.

This thing is perfect for my old better truck. It has a radio now! The microphone kit is great for telling cops that you absolutely have a hands free phone solution in states that require them. That said, the manual is useless and I have no idea what half the settings are, once I figured out how to get into them. FM radio has to be at a volume of like 3-4, but you need to crank it to 20+ for phone calls. Hang up and the FM (or other source) will pierce your soul. Mine won’t keep time on 12h time, but does just fine on 24h time? Bluetooth pairs super easily and reliably. Seriously…it’s a super budget radio and works great as long as you don’t have filet tastes on a hamburger budget. ... show more

Getting the back up camera to work took a lot of trial and error. I finally wired it in as a forward facing camera, never could get the unit to recognize it as reverse camera. The manuals are not very detailed about the camera setup, and offer no troubleshooting tips about it.

Unlike many other inexpensive stereos that only have a blindingly bright blue light at all times, being able to change the backlight color is a very nice addition. The controls are a bit laggy at times, you'll press a button and get the tactile feedback but nothing will change so you'll have to perform the action again. Bluetooth connectivity has been very good, the only thing is that sometimes it will play automatically when it connects and other times it won't. Sound quality is fine, I'm sure audiophiles would vehemently disagree but for the majority of people this stereo will suffice for your needs and then some. ... show more

My radio got wet, and and stopped working. Won't say it's not marine grade, but did not hold up. But nice, great performing stereo. Should've gotten the warranty.

    • Works good, sounds good, but...

I use USB on this, which works well with no problems. The only thing is the navigation between folders is, ummm, not good. As far as quality, it's not bad. Would I buy again? Probably not. I'll stick with Pioneer. Folder navigation is much better on the Pioneers. I don't want navigation irritation.
