Bought this for hemming shirts. I got through hemming 4 shirts without any issues, but on the 5th shirt one needle ended up snapping. I was just sewing normal cotton shirts, not heavy or anything like that. It looks like one of the needles bent and hit the foot of my machine. Overall I think they’re pretty good, you might just need to take a good look at the needles between projects to make sure the tip hasn’t bent, and possibly try and bend it back if you can. I really think this is just the reality of working with needles. Sometimes they snap on you, and while it is quite scary at first it’s just something that happens from time to time. I did end up getting a refund on the item without any issues and went and bought the same thing at a local store as I couldn’t wait for a replacement. For a few bucks I would say try it as it did a great job at hemming! ... show more

I've sewn my whole life and am just now discovering this double needle. I hemmed some dry fit sports shirts and it made such a nice clean professional hem. I watched a YouTube video how to thread the machine. This is a game changer for sporty professional stitching!
