This little wire shelf is adorable. Make *sure* you look at the measurements. The first listing picture, when I wrote this review anyway, shows a unit that looks larger than the one you're getting. The other pictures are pretty accurate though. This unit looks and works like a tiny version of the generic wire shelving units you can get from the major hardware stores. It's four poles, eight pressure fit shelf holders and two shelves. You get one spare shelf clip, which I've never really understand the use of... Generally of you lose them, you're not going to lose one, but it's there's, so not a bad thing. Assembly of the shelf to me about five minutes. We originally put it under a table for storage, but eventually found that it worked better on a desk. It's solid and well made, no rough or sharp edges on the wires, paint covers everything like it should. This isn't going to hold a ton of weight, but at its size, I wouldn't expect it to. We’re using this adjustable bookshelf in our walk-in storage closet specifically to store paper products like paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, and bulk household supplies, and it has been a great solution. The adjustable layer spacing was a big reason we chose this unit—being able to customize the height between shelves made it easy to fit larger packs of paper towels on one level and smaller items on another without wasting vertical space. The slim, space-saving design works extremely well in a closet where every inch matters. Even though it has a narrow footprint, it holds a surprising amount and feels very sturdy once assembled. We stacked multiple bulky paper product packs, and the shelves stayed stable without bowing or wobbling. This small shelving unit is ideal for tight spaces where extra storage is needed. Great mini bookshelf or really any items that you need to put on it. Solidly made with real metal legs and adjustable bottoms so there is no wobbliness. As you can see from my picture its a good size for putting into the kitchen and organizing. The only thing that was an issue was putting it together you have to be a little careful attaching the legs to the grates with some plastic pieces that help lock the grates/shelves in place. The pieces are going to break but you just need to make sure they are on the same level on each leg or you will have to restart. Overall a great mini shelf thingamobber. ... show more

The shelf comes in several parts and is very easy to put together. The legs have notches where you place the small plastic holders in the corresponding notch on all of the legs and then carefully press down on the shelf to lock it in place. When you putting it together it doesn't look like it will be very sturdy, but it actually is. It can hold quite a bit of weight from books that I've been putting on it. It seems as if having a little bit more weight actually holds the shelves in place better. The storage capacity is really nice as you can easily change the height of the shelves to whatever you need. As long as you're using both shelves, it is very sturdy and holds position nicely. It also has adjustable feet on the bottom to adjust if there is an uneven surface that you're placing it on. ... show more
