I was in desperate need for a writing desk with plenty of space for paperwork but I also wanted a keyboard drawer because I cannot work off a laptop. I will say that Amazon was not my first choice. I checked out many high-end and well known venues that sell furniture but could not find what I wanted for a reasonable price. This desk fit the ticket. It is streamlined and well constructed. I opted for "premium" delivery service with Amazon. All that was needed was the assembly of the legs with an Allen wrench. From start to finish, the service was complete in 15 minutes and they removed the box and packing materials. This is an extremely heavy piece of furniture and it would be impossible for me to maneuver it into the room, let alone unpack, assemble and set it upright. The photos show placement in a 9x12 room. The keyboard drawer is wide and the space accommodates an old HP keyboard and mouse. If the manufacturer could have added a small opening on the top of the desk at each end, it would have been perfect for hiding all the wires but I can live with it. One family member who saw it just loved it. BTW the color is a creamy very light beige, not a stark white. ... show more

What a nice looking piece. Already comes with most of it aseembled. No need for a PhD in drawers assembly, they come ready. In fact, all you do is put he legs on. Done. It took me maximum 20 minutes to assebmle. 14 screws. That's it. First time I don't have the cops called on me by the neighbors for verbally abusing the furniture I'm trying to assemble. Don't tell your wife or significant other. Earn some brownie points. Say it was the hardest thing you've ever assembled. Go for a walk, grab a cup of coffee. Catch up on all Marvel Multiverse movies. Unfortunately, the item arrived with the box torn up. The front corner of the desk is badly damaged. The item is solid and heavy. The chipped corner makes the product undesirable.

    • Beautiful table - TERRIBLY unsturdy (wobbles and shakes..and no its not my floor or assembly)

Table arrived in good condition (mostly). There was no shipping damage as far as I can tell but the center pullout/fold down drawer was pushed in and angled. I had to give it a hard tap to dislodge it. Both the left and right magnets were broken and sheered from the screws. I will have to go to the hardware store to fix this, not a huge issue, but should not be an issue in the first place. The style and finish of the table is wonderful. I love the width and the drawers. The drawers are a bit shallow and the side/back wall height could have been taller to keep things from spilling out. For the most part the above mentioned would be a 4.5 star imo. HOWEVER here is my primary issue: The desk is very wobbly/shaky. It is sitting firmly on the floor (so its not a leg issue) and both legs are screwed in until tight (not over tight). Typing lone shakes the desk enough to make my monitor wobble. The side to side sturdiness of the table seems fine, but the front to back is terrible. I have been trying to figure out all day how to brace the table (packing materials already thrown away...so I have to keep this table). I have considered cutting the legs off and making a pipe leg set up. I have considered calling a carpenter to make a house call and determine how to fix the table. Its extremely annoying. The lightest bump against the table (I mean the LIGHTEST) will cause it to wobble/shake back and forth like it is in an earthquake. I might have to mount my monitor to the wall (benq 27" - 600 bucks) so I can work without seeing the monitor shake. It is extremely annoying, even typing this review the monitor is wobbling up and down. I hate to write this review because I love the style and how the desk looks in the room, but the lack of sturdiness in this table is heartbreaking. ... show more

I had been eye-balling this desk for almost a year now and finally made the move and purchased it--I am so glad I did! I was a bit nervous about folks saying theirs had arrived damaged but mine arrived pristine and in perfect shape. Super easy to put together, you just have to bolt on the legs and add a few other screws; the two drawers and keyboard tray are all fully assembled and attached. It's just beautiful and I love that it's real wood and not particle board. As others have said, the drawers are shallow but that's ok by me as they still accommodate a couple paper notebooks/tablets. It's heavy and stable and a nice height. Fantastic to have the extra real estate for multiple monitors. Highly recommend. ... show more
