This has made organizing my kitchen so much better. Everything has a home and this keeps my cabinets looking clean. It’s easy to build and easy to install. I didn’t measure my cabinets before purchasing so I can’t put it straight up like intended but it fits if it’s not put together. I have seen where you can place it on its side and stack that way. I might try that to see if I like it better. It’s great quality, a good size, hold all my pans well. Love, love, love this organizer! I've wanted to organize my pans this way forever, so when we moved I ordered this. It works great. I found no need to secure it to the cabinet, the pans keep it in place. It's great to reach in and just grab a pan. I found I can fit more than one pan in a slot so this is holding more than described. Its easy to put together and very nice quality. Definitely recommend! ... show more

    • Well made but limited usefulness - large pans won't fit

I bought one each of this pan stacker and the Grayline one (Grayline 40207, Frying Pan Sorter, Black). Both are plenty sturdy enough for the job, although the Grayline one is the sturdier of the two. I think it's just a slightly heavier gauge of metal, and also the SimpleHousewares one comes in two sections that you screw together, whereas the Grayline one is all one piece. On the other hand, the SimpleHousewares one probably offers a little more protection to your countertop or whatever surface you're putting it on -- its feet are kind of plastic capped, whereas the Grayline one is all coated metal. (Although it's NOT as if the Grayline one has rough edge or anything.) For about 2/3 of the price for essentially a sturdier version of the same thing, I would definitely rate the Grayline as the better buy of the two. However -- and this is a big "however" -- neither of them has enough clearance to hold a frying pan of any real depth at all, much less a wok-style frying pan. I was afraid that this would be the case and, sure enough, it is. So they're both pretty much useless for their intended purpose. They work reasonably well for baking pans, though, when laid horizontally on their backs. (Not that they actually save any space, mind you, but it's a bit easier to grab something when it's not stacked. They'll probably work okay for pan lids, too, although I don't think I'd buy one for that purpose -- more of a "Well, now we have this, can we find something to use it for?" situation. ... show more

    • Bye-Bye Messy Cabinets - Hello Grabbing a Pan in Seconds

This organizer works beautifully! No more cluttered cabinets! When I need a skillet (pan) I pull one out in a matter of seconds versus digging through hazardously piled pans that my family carelessly threw back in after they were clean. I did not have any issues with any of my pans fitting in the slot, and even my extra large pan (used for sauteing large quantities of vegies) fit into the slot, but does stick out ever so slightly. The ONLY pan that does not fit into an actual slot is my deep pan skillet, one I use for making stews. I was entirely expecting that and instead use the very top rack (like in the photo) for it to sit on top of. So counting the top space, this rack fits UP to 5 skillets. You do have to put the racks together upon un-boxing, but its simply putting the two pieces together and putting in two screws to tighten the two rack pieces. The product (once assembled) is VERY sturdy. There is the option to actually screw it down (in place) on your cabinets, but I have not found the need to use it. I definitely recommend this product if you need to organize your pans more effectively. Just make sure you make proper measurements BEFORE you purchase it, that way you're certain it will not only fit your pans, but also the space you are thinking of storing it at. ... show more
