They really are black out curtains. Color: this was the exact color I wanted. Room size: i got 4 curtains in total so that they wouldn’t look so stretched out. These drapes were well worth the price. The fabric feels good and is a lovely linen color. (The light color actually makes our living room cozier.) We have bought other blackout curtains before and they just sort of screen the light. We have these in our west facing windows. They nicely block the sun and block the light, keeping the room cooler now that summer is here in the south. A big plus is that my husband says they look good, do the job well, and it was a good purchase. He sleeps well on his recliner even in the daylight. I can't say enough positive things about these drapes! They look and feel very expensive, and the blackout feature is perfect. There were creases in them from shipping, so I ran them through the washer and dryer, then hung them immediately after the dry cycle (I used cool water and low heat). They look great! These curtains are really "black out." The hang nicely & are soft. They were a little wrinkled when I opened the package, but put them in dryer on air with a dryer sheet & they came out beautifully. Really quality curtains.

Curtains are as expected, however third set arrived separately without any shipping materials! The curtains are in a plastic, zippered sleeve which could have easily ripped open. A shipping box or envelope was definitely called for.

These blackout curtains are great at keeping my room dark. If you like sleeping in a dark room or need a movie room dark, these work. My only issue is I can’t keep the pleats between the grommets even.
