I was hesitant to give these a try since high quality flax linen is very expensive and these are affordable. But I am very pleased with these sheets. Linen sheets are not for everyone. They have a very different look and feel from your average cotton blend sheets. Yes, these need to be laundered a few times before they begin to soften and feel like vintage linen. Be patient. Wash them a few times before putting them on the bed. Soak them in hot water and a cup of baking soda in your washer overnight. Then rinse and line dry or put in the dryer on low and take them out when they are still a little damp. You may need to repeat this a few times before they become as soft as you'd like. The set I purchased was well made and, so far, has laundered quite nicely. Again, be patient and you will be rewarded.

Sheets are comfortable, but they wore thin and started to develop holes within 8 months of normal use. Seller said this was normal. Sheets at this price point should last longer.

I have purchased 3 sets. They are soft and great to sleep in. They came on time. Some have complained of a strange smell. There is a packing odor but it is mild and goes away when washed. They do get softer with each wash. Also, they feel really heavy and I was concerned with warmer weather coming I would not be able to use them. They are NOT hot. Very comfortable!! Very affordable!!

After months of looking at options, I picked these in white with the hallowed out trim. I washed them twice with baking soda even though they didn’t have a smell like others mentioned. I dried them on a medium-high heat the first time, and noticed that they dry easily and much quicker than my cotton sheets. Thankfully, my sheets didn’t shrink under that high heat. Being new to linen, they seemed scratchy unlike the smooth cotton I was used to. However, I got accostumed to them quickly and now I’m completely in love. I love the weight and how they keep me warm yet comfortably cool at the same time. They do feel softer with use. Well worth the investment. I want these on every bed in my house, plus spares!

i bought these as a backup to my recently purchased pottery barn linen sheets. they’re def not as soft as the pb ones, but they’re also $100 cheaper, so can’t reallt complain. i’ve washes them twice (including a baking soda soak, tip i picked up from a reviewer here) and they do seem softer than at first, so am hopeful they’ll continue to soften with time. stitching and elastic all see very well done.

I love these sheets! I read some reviews before ordering and was concerned that they would be "itchy" or "scratchy" but that hasn't been an issue for me. They definitely need a good wash before using though. I suspect that some reviewers have had little to no experience with linen and that's the reason for the mixed reviews.. Ive washed mine 3x (1x a week since getting them) and they are incredibly comfortable. Linen is known for being breathable and these have been the best sheets I've ever owned in that regard. I plan to buy more.

The sheets look and feel amazing. No smell or weird scent, was sorta scared to throw in the wash but once they came out of the dryer I shook them out, most of wrinkles came off. The color is great. Highly recommend. I actually got these to try out linen sheets this summer so that I can get the $200-300 version from llbean or landsend, but I will be getting these in another color plus a back up.
