My daughter is 11 and while she thinks she would love a Stanley I convinced her to buy this cup instead. First of all the size is much more appropriate for a rather small 11 year old. The Stanley is about half her size. It’s sturdy enough to handle her running into things with and she loves all the vibrant fun colors to pick from. Also, this has an attached silicone straw on the top lid part, which is great, since she walks around with it hanging out of her mouth most of the time, it is only a matter of time before she trips doing that, and this way she won’t injure the roof of her mouth with a hard plastic straw. It’s fairly spill proof, we test that just about daily and while it might dribble a little bit it is not much and very manageable. Overall this is a fantastic cup, I have the larger size and honestly wish mine had the same lid as hers. This keeps drinks cool and ice solid for HOURS. I can work a 10 hour shift and still have ice on my way home that I put in my cup that morning. Great product. 10/10. ... show more

i recently saw a friend had this exact style for their child’s cup…the print…i just HAD to have it…as an adult ahaha! so i went ahead and snagged one for myself here on amazon because it was cheaper than on their website. this thing is perfect! i’ve never purchased from this brand before but the quality is top notch! it comes with an extra straw & is SO easy to clean! and truly doesn’t leak when flipped over or tipped sideways. it keeps my drinks super cold & always fresh! the lid is easy to clean, and it really stays sealed tight! the color and pattern are otherworldly cute & pop from all my other cups. i’ll use this kid’s cup until it falls apart, i may snag a backup! I send this with my autistic son to school every day. It’s spill proof and really does keep the ice there for a long time. Bonus that he loves it because it looks like a mini version of my Stanleys. It fits in the cup holders of his car seat and hold a good amount of water. It’s easy to wash and has held up perfectly on the top rack of the dishwasher. It’s been dropped many times without dents (I can’t say that about my brumates and hyrdoflasks he has dented) the only con is that if you compress the straw it will leak. Thats a pretty niche problem since for us it has to go in his backpack with his iPad, lunch box etc. several times we haven’t been careful enough while packing the bag and it will get knocked over and the straw pinched leaking water all over his iPad/aac device. It’s really not a fault of the cup though because that’s just how the straw bladder works. It’s also what makes it easy enough for my son to use while also being spill proof. So now we just don’t put it inside the book bag or clip it to the bag with a giant carabiner clip. We own like 6 of them now and use them daily! ... show more

I love this cup. I love how it doesn’t spill when it falls, and I love the screw top. The color is so pretty and it definitely keeps my drinks cold with ice still in them for more than 3 hours. It does have a sort of taste after a while when you leave the drinks in them for a good bit, but other than that, it’s a great cup and I love how it comes with an extra straw. It holds a good amount of drink in it so the capacity is good. I also bought charms for my car to make it look extra pretty and once my daughter saw it, she wanted her own, so I bought another slim cup, size 24 oz, for her With her own charms and accessories, and she absolutely loves it.
