This is the worst cup I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I bought this in March and I only use it twice a week when I commute in to the office because my other cups aren’t leakproof. This was supposed to be. In July, the plastic straw part broke so the straw doesn’t swing out properly but I was able to make it work. But now the lid is broken after falling once! The lid is apparently in two pieces: a part that screws in and a part that pops in. The top part of the lid no longer stays attached to the bottom part, which means if you use the handle, the lid comes apart. And if you jostle the bottle in a bag, the lid also comes apart. I am so annoyed. This is a kids version: it should be more durable. What a waste of money. ... show more

Update: contacted simple modern over email and was sent an updated cup which I hope survives longer. As usual, I should have bought from the company directly from the beginning. Old review: Only survived 2 months, was dropped on the gym floor at school and lid broke.

Cute and durable. Keeps ice through the school day. Leak proof, sweat proof and the boot keeps it in place. Daughter loves the easy carry handle and pastel colors. As with all Simple Modern water bottles, the quality is great.

I have to say I am very sad to have to write this review, I wanna start by saying that I have multiple cups from simply modern and have never had a problem, however since September I have had to replace my daughters water bottle 3 times, because her lid has literally separated on itself. But my other daughter's water that she has also had since September is perfectly fine. I don't know if it's because of the color or if the handle is not put together correctly but it's very frustrating because I love the water bottle for it's size and she love the color. I really hate that it has broken 3 times and I have had to purchase it over and over. ... show more

Cute design but not duroable. The lid broke twice. The first time it cracked on top. The company sent us a replacement. The second time the bottom part of the lid that screws onto bottle broke off. Bummer because the bottles are very cute.

We have several other SM bottles in other styles are they are sturdy. We liked the handle and extra size on this for my boys but about 6 months into using them, the handle started pulling the lid apart and they're no longer usable. The same things happened with both bottles around the same time so must be a design flaw. We'll be going back to another style. Wish I could find replacement lids. ... show more
