I’ve been using the Simple Modern 40 oz Trek Tumbler for a few weeks now, and overall I’m really impressed. It keeps my drinks cold for hours—even after sitting in a hot car, I still come back to ice. The handle is comfortable and makes it easy to carry around, and the tapered bottom actually fits in my car’s cup holder, which is something a lot of big tumblers can’t do. The design feels sturdy and high-quality, and I like that it comes with multiple straws. The whole thing is easy to clean, and the finish still looks brand new. My only minor complaint is that it’s not completely leak-proof. If it tips over with the straw in, you’ll get a little splash. Great tumbler, exactly what I was looking for. The search was exhaustive! Pros: - Great handle that fits all my fingers, a lot of ones under 40oz only fit 3 - Uncomplicated lid, just a straw hole, which is only thing I ever use. Good wide straw too. Also handy that you can lock it in 4 different positions. - Fits my car's small cupholder which doesn't have much overhead room (Toyota Prius C). Most good tumblers are 40 oz, which don't fit - Sleek matte look. The other colors I've seen in person look good too. - Actually leak proof, unless you turn it upside down of course - Seems sturdy and is easy to clean, no areas that are hard to get to because top and bottom of lid are flat. Think this will be with me for a while! - Has inspired me to write what might be my first Amazon review Cons: - May not be as insulated as some, at least how they're advertised, I haven't used the big brands like Stanley. If it's full of ice it won't melt for at least a day though ... show more
