I’m always pleased with every purchase from Carter’s Simple Joys. My son is 8 months and wears sizes 12-18 months. Knowing the material, it was best to order a size up. Instead of purchasing 12 months, we ordered some sizes up and got the 18months and it still fits like a glove. There’s room in the foot part for growth, this was exactly what I was going for. Update: my son is now actually 18 months and these still fit nice. He grew into them but they always fit him pretty well.

These are really cute light weight pjs with adorable prints! I love the patterns and the soft feel. The grip on the feet seem to really help my son when he's trying to stand. The zipper doesn't have an underlay but his skin still seems protected and it doesn't leave any marks and doesn't seem to bother. It has a good snap at the top over the zipper so it won't chaffe. I received the 12 month size for my 10 month old so expected them to be a tad big but really they fit him width wise but are just a little long. My son is 20.7 l, 40th percentile height. If my son gets any chunkier they won't fit him super long. I'm hoping these last through 14 months, but maybe only until he's 12 months. Recommend sizing up. They are very sweet looking though and I've been using them for the daytime in this cooler spring weather or nights with a sleep sack. Highly recommend. Only downside is they zip down which is typical of these footies I've just gotten spoiled with a few that zip up.

Snug fit is an understatement. The arm and leg openings of these are soooooooooooooo thin. When you hold them up, they look ridiculous too - you can see a child would have to be a stick figure for these to fit right. And speaking of thin, so is the material. Just cheaply made and not good quality. I got the 24-month size for my 9 month old (tall for his age) and somewhat slim, and right now the arms and legs are tight on him! That being said, my kid will wear them and drool on them for a couple of months until I can't squeeze his extremities into these anymore - for the price, not worth returning, but I certainly will not buy these again.

The quality is inferior to what I have come to expect from Carter’s and what I have received via Prime in the past. The new tag that says “Exclusively for Amazon Prime Members” may have something to do with it— it seems these kinds of “exclusive” arrangements always just end up with an inferior product for the same price. I expected soft, snuggly PJ’s like I have received in the past, instead, the material is thin and scratchy. Definitely not comfortable for a baby to sleep in. On the upside, the prints are super cute and it was tempting to keep the onesies because of the prints, but my son hates the way they feel. So I’ll be returning this set and will now be more wary of my purchases in the future. Disappointing.

My baby is tall for his age and has always been in a size up for clothing. I got him the 12 month size when he was 6 months, but the fit is a little strange. It is loose in the belly but fits his height (like most of his clothing has been), but it is tight in the thighs and arms (but really loose in the feet). While he hasn't started crawling yet to burn all those calories, I don't think his arms and legs are all that chubby compared to an average baby. It works for us, as the material is stretchy enough, but it may not be a good fit for all babies. I love that this brand has cotton footies in bigger sizes though! They are hard to find, especially in this price range.

They are OK. We need cotton PJs because of my son's eczema (we avoid fleece). Also, we prefer footed PJs because it makes it harder for him to scratch. These serve both purposes. We've have them for a while and use them A LOT, and now two of them came lose in one foot. I just sewed them back and keep using them. I find them soft, and cute designs. I think we'd buy them again, mainly for the price.

I have these in all the different prints in sizes from 9 months and on. They are soft- at least they are for the first 50 washes- and the fit is perfect and snug and they have the grippy feet for a crawling, now walking baby turned toddler! They are cotton so he doesn’t sweat like he does in some other pjs and they are so cute, he always gets compliments when we went out since I hardly bothered changing him out of pjs when he was napping 2-3 times a day. He pretty much lived in them until recently when he only started taking 1 nap and started really walking and running. Now they are for bedtime mostly. Love these!

Baby has been 19-21 pounds and 27.5-28.75 inches so far while wearing these. That's about 67% in BMI. So he's not really chunky. But he's very long waisted. These fit like a dream! I've tried so many other brands and they are all just too tight and he was very uncomfortable. These are still snug and safe, but not constricting. We will only ever buy this brand from now on. Also, I absolutely adore the print with the animals drinking through silly straws. Hilarious.
