I really am sad that the oldest kids in our Family are about to be too old for Carter's. I can tell you that for 8 years, we buy pretty much exclusively Carter's brand clothing. These Fleece PJ's have been handed down 5 years running and they still look great! Carter's makes the PJ's in lots of combinations, but I only buy those with at least Fleece bottoms The Fleece is wonderful year round, they do not fade, shrink or wear out and they stay soft! They rarely get those little ball like things on them, but when they do, I use a sweater shaver to remove them and they look like new again. When the weather turns warm we switch to Cotton T shirts and use them all year long till the pants get too short and we need the next size up. Worth every penny !

I bought this and washed it. I didn't get a chance to use it until last night, and of course my return window is closed, so I guess I'll just be throwing the tops in the garbage. I ordered this in a 3T. The shirt part is TINY and the sleeves, the bottom cuff, is so small in diameter that my child couldn't fit his hand through it at all. Like, it would *maybe* fit a 9/12mo. old, but no way does it fit a toddler. Super angry that I bought this and didn't inspect the sleeve holes prior to the return window closing. This set is complete garbage. Would give zero stars if I could. Save your money.

While these pajamas are nice and soft, they shirt sleeves are a bit tight and the pants run a bit big, and the waist band on the pants is useless. They have very little elasticity and so fell off my son. These are made of polyester so they will not shrink. My son is just 2 years and 9 months and fits nicely into regular Carter 4T cotton pajamas, in fact the 3T Carter are tight on him. Very disappointed. He loved the fire engine pajamas. I bought these pajamas for my massive 2 year old (97 percentile) he wears a 3T in everything and these fit perfectly. They are super soft and comfy. We live in new england so warm pj's are definitely a plus in the fall and winter. Will be purchasing a set for my daughter I highly recommend

Compared to Carter's outlet stores, these are much cheaper. Although I do purchase a lot of Carter's, their fleece pj's tend to be pricey. Their non fleece are expensive too! For $10/set, that's great. You're looking at $14-16/set at the store and they dont really offer discounts anymore. So for me, the price save is definitely worth it for a slight dip in quality. First I'll say, definitely hang dry them if possible. I always hang the tops, but I dry the pants in the dryer. The dryer would certainly ruin the print. These need to last for my second child so I just hang dry them. Also, I almost always wash on cold unless the laundry i heavily soiled, but that's rare. As far as the skinny arms. I know what everyone is talking about. Carter's (and other pjs manufacturers) tend to make skinny arms. They're not too bad, but it may be because I dont dry them in the dryer. As you can see in the last photo, they fit around my wrist. They are still wet in the photo, on my arm. I do have rather skinny arms though but it's not a problem for us. Again, I stand by my recommendation to hang dry instead of machine dry. it'll dry in approximately 24 hrs, even in a cold house. We keep our thermostats at 60 degrees farenheit in the winter. As far as sizing. My 4 yr old is 40.5 lbs and 42" tall. He would fall in the size 5 range but I ordered a size 6 to get more use. The shirt fits well, but it's a wee bit long, doesnt effect anything though. Growing room! The pants are a bit long and loose, size 5 def wouldve fit better but again. Maybe *just maybe* I can get another use out of these bad boys for next winter. Maybe, you never know! I'd like to add the extra looseness is handy because we do cloth diapering. He only wears a diaper at night time, but as some of you may know, cloth diapers are enormous. He has a huge fluff butt at night. Although my son tends to rip his pjs off anyway before he falls asleep, because he runs warm and sweats a lot. So I guess this part doesnt matter too much, but for anyone who cloth diapers, this *can* work, but you may need to size up. As far as comfort and style, my son loves them! I ordered them in August, he never wore them until this month. We're in New England and the mornings are quite cold, and we haven't started using the heaters yet. These keep him warm in the early mornings and to make sure they stay on his waist, he must wear undies to help prevent them from sliding off his waist. Also I roll it down once at the waist, and that helps. He loves the styles as do I! They're adorable, comfy, and good for the price. I recommend these for sure! If you are a stickler on quality, you might want to pass. They're decent but not perfect though, which some families who plan on having multiple children, I think other, more expensive brands may last 4-5 children. I'm confident these will last 2-3 children with proper care. I only have 2 boys, but I know Carter's, I'll be able to donate after my youngest wears these. In fact, I've found Carter's Simple Joy's at second hand stores so they definitely do last from child to child!

I am very disappointed in these pajamas because of the pants material. I have bought Carter's pjs in the past and the fit my son perfectly. These pants material have no give to them. Children's clothes should allow movement without restrictions. My son rolled in his sleep and the pants slid off him. Will no recommend or purchase in the future.

Got these before my son turned 3 hoping the would last him awhile. However, after getting them and trying them on they barely fit. The material is soft, but having bought other clothes from their original brand I have to say this are lacking. They will serve their purpose for now, but they will definitely not last long since he is already growing out of them. The shirt fits too short, his belly shows and the pants are really low. Any time he bends down his butt shows. Will not be buying the brand again

We received the pajamas yesterday, and after washing and being worn only 1 time there are two holes along the seam where the arm meets the body of the top. This is a result of poor construction and we will be returning. The reviews stating that the bottoms have poor elastic and slide off are also all true.
