Food will get stuck in these but not nearly as bad as sponges. I've used them when cleaning up bread dough. If food gets caught in the scrubber I've used a wide tooth comb to clean them out. Durable item. You can also use these to grab a hot pot handle or lid. I don't care much for them because of the way they feel in my hand and they're a little too gentle for cleaning most things. But I've kept one on my sink for a few months and like having it there when needed. They certainly are almost indestructible compared to a kitchen sponge.

I use this for scrubbing dishes and then throw it in the dishwasher right after. I love that I can throw in dishwasher because I used to do that with my old fashion sponges and they would disintegrate in the front pieces them all over the dishwasher. This one is way better and I'm just worried they're a little flimsy that's why I only gave them a four-star. Great price though.
