UPDATE: Let’s be fair to Amazon: They ended up, without battle, doing what seems to me to be the right thing - picked them up, sent the new ones promptly, and seamlessly took care of the of the refund and new charge. Also, the 4.0 strength was in fact ordered in error by me. That strength is the default start for some reason, and when I looked at another page it reverted to the default. Usually - and in this case - Amazon customer service just rocks. -max ` I LOVE the performance of these glasses, the ease of going from computer to TV is especially nice. I say that because I’ve had them before AND the transparent frames are a great look. They have not lasted long for either myself or my wife (who also loved them) because the frames are a quite brittle plastic, or were with the previous 4. Being a hopeless optimist I wanted to give them a try. UNFORTUNATELY, looking at 2 pair, in returning to these the computer reverted to its display of a 4.0 vision which would be so impossible I did not even open them. It is difficult for me to get to a UPS return center, and to have them picked up is an $8.00 fee, which rather floored this Prime subscriber. It is not within my purview to understand why the next delivery driver could not simply pick them up from the porch. -max ... show more

These glasses are fantastic. I have been using them until I can get to a Optometrist for prescription. They have three levels. Work great, and you get 2 pair for less then 15.00.

    • Cheap plastic frames break easily

At first I really liked these glasses. The frames fit good and the progressive lens were better than expected but 1 pair the a temple ear piece broke and the other the frame around the lense broke so I removed a good temple piece from the bad frame and installed on the good frame. They didn’t match but I was back in business until the second pair frame broke around the lense. The total time from 2 new pair of glasses until 2 junk pair was approximately 2 months and I was not wearing them everyday. ... show more

I would have given 4 or 5 stars other than the fact that the magnification power is etched right into the lens. There is a + sign on the left of each lens and a + 4.00 on the right. It is very annoying. You can see these spots in your periphery everywhere you look. I can't imagine what they were thinking. The glasses work well enough and the frames seem sturdy enough however, the 'cases' are very thin and only protect from accidental scratches or scuffs. ... show more

I am surprised and very happy with these glasses. They are attractive and so far sturdy. More importantly I can see very clearly in all distances, Far Medium and Close. Replaced my prescription glasses with ease.
