These are the lanyards I’ve been searching for. All previous lanyards I’ve owned either didn’t hold my glasses securely or interfered with my peripheral vision. These take a little time to carefully position them on plastic glasses because they grip so well, but once they are in place they don’t move. I have no concerns about my glasses crashing to the ground because the attachment mechanism on the lanyards couldn’t hold them securely. My spouse was also impressed with the securing mechanism but would prefer that they also be available with jump rings where a fashion lanyard with lobster claw closures could be attached. The length of the lacing straps could be a few inches longer so my glasses don’t hang as high on my chest when I’m not wearing my glasses on my head. This is especially important if you have a larger (pumpkin) head and neck. But for my use the current design with the lacing as it is works very well. Only time will tell how the securing mechanism holds up over time, but for now they are off to a great start.

I work in healthcare and wear glasses. Part of my job is using a chemical to remove adhesive after a study is done (sleep study pediatrics) so it doesn’t hurt my pt. Unfortunately bending over a pt, my glasses slip down. I thought this would be perfect to keep my glasses in place so I wouldn’t use my gloved hands to push them back up, getting the chemical on my glasses. 😞 removing the finish. I had to make it so tight for them not to slip, I bruised my cheek under my eye 😳

I bought the 2pc set. U won't be disappointed with this product. I attached them to my prescription glasses the very day I received them. These hold onto my glasses firmly with no slippage and are adjustable for Thicker frames if needed. They are a thicker stretchy material and if you have long hair like myself they don't tangle in your hair But you do want to take caution when bringing the strap off your head because it will pull your hair along with it. I'm glad that I found these - Huge Thanks Amazon! 👍

Someone else mentioned this, these string holders are "large" almost like flat shoe-laces. In my case, I like to attach the strings just in front or behind my ears as that makes them more comfortable and I don't like them hanging down my cheeks or tangling with my ear buds. The attachment portion with the rubber is also wild and the non-slip rubber was irritating my ears and made them grippy when I took the glasses off. I like the cords to be behind my ears to prevent the glasses from falling down my nose when I am bending over. That meant that the un-needed extra loop at the back reminded me of when I had a ponytail. The cord is longer than the average but that might be good if you wear hats or have large hair. They are otherwise sturdy, well-made and do their job. Think about your situation and if you might end up noticing the same things I did. I do read reviews before I buy things and also try to write fair reviews. These may work for you. For me it came down to these just not meshing with how I use them. I'll say technically 4-stars.
