Easy to assemble. The box was easy to open and remove the parts. My 13-year-old put it together with some minimal assistance (nailing the back panel on). He had it done in under 30 min. 3 of the shelves can move around to allow smaller or larger gaps for items, so they are not super sturdy but hold the items we put with ease. Easy to assemble, sturdy. Amazon beats the price of any other retailer online. I can't believe what some other sites are charging for this thing. Nice deep shelves, good look. The specs in the Amazon listing state, Material: Oak. And as heavy as this thing is I was thinking it might actually be solid wood, but it's not, it's pressboard with a veneer. Ordered this was really excited to get it, especially on sale cause it matched my Ashley Furniture bed room suit. But it came in today and in the process of putting it together realized the back piece is half the size of the shelf in width itself so it didn’t come with the correct part. Also in the pictures the back piece matches the sides so idk why this flimsy card board piece was sent with it anyways. I was really disappointed because it’s not what I ordered. But it’s fully functional just not the same. Easy to put together in 30 mins only needed a hammer and Philips screw driver, although it is heavy I could lift it and move it by myself. I contacted Amazon customer service and worked out a solution with them over the product not being what I ordered and they handled the solution appropriately and also reached out to the manufacturer about the issue. Overall I’m satisfied with the outcome of my issue but buyer be ware before ordering this product. ... show more
