I bought 2 sizes (XL and L) because I had no idea which one would fit better. I'm 5'3 and the XL is long enough that it does drag on the ground a little bit. I don't mind it, I can wear boots with it and be just fine. The top portion was a little too loose in the arms, but I guess if I gain more weight it'll allow some room for that. The pockets are excellent! I also wore a belt around my waist to hide the seam. It pulled the look of the dress together. The L fits great on the top, much more fitting and flattering. The skirt is too short by about 2 inches. It's like wearing floods. I plan on keeping both because I like having options. I like them so much, I will probably buy other patterns in the future. I bought a matching dress for my child and it was fun to match!

It was a loser fit than I expected and the length is at about the top of my ankle. I personally like my dresses to the floor or a little longer so I can wear heels with it, to me...at this length it looks funny with my heels. It didn't shrink much when I washed it. I do wish the sleeves were a little longer-lasting, I prefer them longer. Overall though it was good quality, typical dress. It was a little lighter material than I expected with it being a "winter" dress but it was big enough to wear leggings and a long sleeve thermal layer underneath without seeing them or the outline of them.

I'm 5'6 so the dress stops at my ankle. The empire waist sits kind of odd but looks ok when paired with a belt.

I got this, and me being a larger size (2X, 20/22, 5'7", 300lb), wasn't expecting it to really work out. But, I was pleasantly surprised. Sleeves weren't too tight, empire waist hits in the perfect spot. I'm really looking forward to wearing it this fall/winter. it's currently too hot to wear black long sleeves, lol. And the green plaid skirt has POCKETS and is soft, long enough to reach my ankles and not sheer. Definitely a great dress choice.
