It turned out a little more brown than the picture which fit what I needed even more. I wanted a tall headboard since I have an adjustable bed but it is also low enough to not show the wall when it's down. It is solid, well built, good instructions, easy to assemble. It is heavy, both the box and the completed headboard. I was a little iffy on the lights, but they look fantastic, both for function and appearance. I love how easy it is to reach up and turn them on from laying in the bed (I'm always losing my glasses or the remote). They are enough to read by but not so bright you're blinded. I rarely write reviews, but I just had to share how awesome this headboard is. It was designed amazingly well, and is absolutely beautiful. We just purchased a new home and have put together quite a few headboards in the last month. This was the last of them, and it was also the easiest! The design of this headboard is made for easy assembly. It took us about a half hour, and required almost no tools. Even the lamps were a cinch. I purchased a different but similar headboard (that was slightly shorter and didn't have lamps - but had the same overall style) for about $100 less. This one beats that hands down. If you are going back and forth on whether this one is worth the spend, my suggestion is to go for it. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

This headboard was extremely easy to put together. We didn’t end up using the USB cord because they were not iPhone compatible. It was very similar to a small USB input.

I had my doubts when I saw this headboard in its unassembled state. But man. When it’s done it looks amazing. I do wish the lights plugged in so I didn’t have to worry about batteries since this is in a rental. But great statement headboard!

Very happy with this headboard. We separately purchased a metal bed frame and found that it was not very secure. We ended purchasing the foot board and side rails for a manufactured fit.

    • Looks good, perhaps a normal sized box spring would improve my situation

I got the king size one. I have a low profile box spring so it makes the headboard seem a little top heavy. I purchased a 3rd party attachment plate to improve sturdiness, improvement but not perfect. I use my heavy king size mattress to wedge the headboard against the wall. The lights look cool and get compliments but the actual light output is poor. Overall it looks good and gets lots of compliments but functionally it leaves a little to be desired. Good value for the money. Did arrive with 2 small chunks of particle board missing but not enough for me to want to deal With returning it (or whatever the material is). Also the wood isn’t a solid construction, it has the false back type of wood construction. So it looks solid but isn’t. Still heavy duty though. Oh and the USB ports are maybe the show stealer, so convenient leaving your extra charging cords right there so every single time you reach for it you can find it. ... show more
