This scope is absolutely amazing. I did a lot of research and compared a lot of thermals in this price and nothing came close. Either it wasn’t a higher resolution or it didn’t have a laser range finder like this one. I was not disappointed when I received it. The image is crystal clear, the laser range finder is spot on, and the menus were so simple my 12 year old son already knows how to change the color modes and connect it to his phone. The Hydra LRF is perfect. I love the integrated laser range finder. Often it is difficult to gauge distances with thermal devices. So knowing how far an object is can help inform me. Like if a heat signature is far away then its shape and size can mean the difference of going out there to investigate it closer or moving on to look for other potential game. ... show more

It’s awesome. But make sure you get the correct battery 18650 flat top not button head. Button head is too long. About a $40 mistake.
