Who doesn’t need space to put certain things you kept as important memorabilia throughout your lifetime? Or, maybe you need to store some extra linens or blankets? This is a perfect chest that could be used for many storage purposes! I moved homes; we began to redecorate. I got a new bedroom set (the Ashley Cambeck Set - this gives you an idea of the color of this particular chest -If you’d like to see better). I needed my keepsake chest, but it was a cedar chest. It didn’t match anything in the new bedroom. I wasn’t crazy about that, but I had to have something. I wasn’t sure what to do. As always, I turned to Amazon! I found this chest. It matches my bedroom set very well (not exactly, but close). It fits at the end of my bed. It was perfect! The price was high! It’s an “Ashley” piece of furniture, though, so that’s to be expected. The chest is good quality wood. It’s sturdy! As already mentioned, it’s a great color. It has a very modern, farmhouse type look. The lid lifts in a different way (see pic). I would have preferred it to just be one lid where you didn’t have to rearrange stuff because of the centerpiece. Then, something changed in the coloring of the wood. It turned a yellow-ish color. I wished I had purchased the protection plan so I could have it replaced (I know for next time). I still can’t figure out why/how it became discolored! I also wish it was bigger. You can fit things, but not as much as you would in a regular cedar keepsake chest/hope chest. Those were just a few things I wasn’t crazy about. It is still a great chest! It sits at the end of my bed. It goes well with the decor. I actually might like to get another one to put beside it, 🤔, but for now it’s just right! I would definitely recommend! On a side note, I did see where it mentioned using it as a coffee table. That’s very misleading! You wouldn’t want to put a cup with condensation on the top of the wood. It’s also not big enough to serve the purpose of a coffee table (at least in my opinion). I literally see this just being used to store linens and/or memorabilia. Happy shopping! 😊 ... show more

Allows me to store my throw blankets in my living room is really cute too. Easy was kind of crazy for me. What I did was lay the top down then added all the sides the tighten them all instead of one at a time. This worked best for me.
