I bought 3 Zelen Warm Gray pieces and I've lazily copied my review from the two drawer night stand and just made a few edits -- but this is a real review and all the furniture is perfect after a few months of use... For the price and the declared materials of construction, I was expecting a mediocre piece of flat pack furniture that would show up banged up and broken. Then I expected a two month long fight to get a replacement or replacements parts. Then, of course, I expected that it would take an hour to assemble and that it would become structurally less stable every time it was moved to clean around it ... I've been down this road before, but who wants to spend $1000+ on a night stand from ABC? I'm just going to spill wine and candle wax all over it. OH MY, WAS I WRONG! This little beaut comes intact, well packed, pre-built and all you have to do is screw on the handles (handles are metal). It seems very sturdy. The veneer is an attractive gray and seems quite tough. Don't get me wrong, this is budget furniture, there's no solid wood here. But, it's just what I needed and I'm very happy I took a gamble on buying from this line of furniture on the net. Two thumbs up. This product is vastly superior to the flimsy and overpriced garbage they peddle at West Elm (I also don't fancy your chances of getting FREE SHIPPING from those muppets either). ... show more

The chest is beautiful. Delivery was on time, and personnel delivering were terrific. Due to Covid19, the chest (in box) is delivered just inside the door, already mostly assembled in the box. We moved the chest in box to the bedroom ourselves (1 level home with wide hallways). The chest of drawers had damage on the back panel at the top (flexible cardboard type backing was broken on both top corners, pulled away from back of chest) but still attached from sides and bottom. We can live with that as it's against a wall (as should be so it can be attached for safety - cables & hardware are provided w/instructions). Our floors are level, the chest is not. Shims are supplied to be used under the feet to level the chest. We also attached felt covers to the bottom of the 'feet' - 3 of the 4 screw-on feet were rough sawed which could damage floors. Requires at least 2 people to unbox, lay the chest down to attach feet, and set back upright - it's BIG and heavy. The drawer knobs are covered in plastic, and required unscrewing from inside of drawers, to make sure all the plastic is removed and then can be tightened up again. ... show more

Great dresser, built well and matches my other furniture. It came fully assembled... I was confused about that when I bought it and thought it would need put together, which is what I needed. Struggled to get it inside and moved to its spot. I have no idea how 1 Amazon delivery driver got it up my porch steps by themselves!! But they did without damaging the dresser or my porch steps!! ... show more

Took a month to deliver. Amazon and shipper were not in sync. Delivery date kept changing. Showed up at 6:30 one evening. No advance notice. No call. Delivery said "No signature required". If you're not home, they will leave it on the driveway. Luckily we were home. It was raining. Ashley Furniture is not the best choice for online ordering. The furniture is cheaply made and won't hold up to weeks on the road with rough treatment. All of the drawer slides are broken. Screws can't be tightened. Most likely dropped on side a few times. Drawers won't stay closed. If you're looking for a functioning piece of furniture with "White Glove" delivery, Amazon is not the place to buy it. ... show more

Parts can break easily if you’re not extra careful when assembling yourself. Drawers do not pull out all the way due to new safety standards and there is no way around it.
