The only reason I did not buy this at Ashley Homestore when I bought my "12 Chime Hybrid Mattress (I would completely recommend that as well) is because they were not completely certain that they sold these 'mattress risers' anymore. Thus far it has been excellent. I was told that it was extremely easy to assemble. It looks basic yet very well made, which will allow me to be creative and dress my bed either up or down. The headboard attachment is a nice bonus. The "14 of storage below is practical: Little did I know that at 5'2, if this riser were any taller I would need to make an effort to get in and out of bed. It completely secures my mattress in place. It offers me just as much support as any traditional box spring and frame ever has. Thus far, it has not made a sound and I look forward to purchasing another one through Amazon very soon. ... show more

Likes: 1) The Feline Overlords like the additional space underneath the bed. 2) Very easy to assemble. (If you had legos as a child you can assemble this.) 3) Sturdy. 4) Added height makes it easier to retrieve the Feline Overlords from underneath the bed when it's time for a tune up at the vets'. Caveats: 1) If you are using bed risers to elevate the head of your bed, remember that you will have to put them on the legs that run down the middle of the bed's head or you may spend about 24 hours wondering why your bed is now sagging so badly. 2) This thing has a lot of legs, not just at the foot and head, like with a traditional box spring. Buy a twin headboard, buy a twin bed frame and everything else is fine right? Not always. We had so issues installing our headboard to this frame, not sure who to blame but we figure it out by loosening some bolts just enough to make the puzzle fit. The frame itself is excellent, sturdy, well made and easy to setup thanks to assembly being 90% done out of the box (folded). Sturdy, no noise when you sit/lay/kneel on it, easy to move in the room. Definitely use some floor protection though, carpet or hard surface. It even has the headboard brackets included. Its a great base. Just laid the Ashley memory foam mattress right on it. Perfect, not too high, not too low. Will update, as it had not been a whole 7 days. Do yourself a favor & don’t order this!! I tried to return this item. Ups told me it would cost me 94 dollars to return!!!! Not really acceptable for a 130. Dollar frame. Clearly no free or reasonable return on this bed. Contacted the company. Their solution is return throughfedxfor 84.00

We bought the king size and it was super easy to assemble. My spouse had to help because of the size, but it probably took less than five minutes to set up. Been using it for about three weeks with no problem. It’s incredibly sturdy. We use it with a box springs because I was concerned that our foam mattress wouldn’t hold up, and while it makes the bed very high, it’s still comfortable.
