Been waiting on this price to be affordable for me for 6 months. Finally, a quality greater than the price. It is mostly assembled when it arrives, one person who is detailed oriented and with a decent level of strength, can set up this table. The quality is very good. The only things I did not like (the 4 stars) was when putting in the decorative iron pieces ( bottom side of table) into the holes, one of them was off. I had to use my hammer to bend the iron piece a little for it to fit in the hole. The other is , the table top does not go all the way down in place. Lifting the top is no problem. Nice and smooth. The height it extends is good for my sofa height. When Pushing it back down, it has a gap. I will need to make adjustments. Maybe placing something decorative with some weight on the left edge. The table top does not lay flush like it needs to. Overall. I really like the addition to my livingroom. This table pulls all the pieces together. It was worth the wait and buy :) ... show more

    • Good but some minor defects.
This table is just as amazing as I thought it’d be. My main concern, per other customers’ reviews, was it arriving damaged, I took a huge chance and ordered it and indeed it was damaged (chipped) on the sides and I am disappointed in the that aspect. The MDF on the one side broken in pieces and on the other side, a few hairline cracks. Also, one of the hinges that allows you to remove the drawers in order to install the Allan screw that hold the middle legs was damaged, basically you cannot open the drawer unless you unscrew the entire rail, very frustrating. The table is very heavy and look solid. I’d hate to return it for such small defects and I hope the seller do something about the time I’m going to spend and money to buy (mounding and resin glue) to fix the “eyesores” on the table. But, we’ll see. Overall, it’s a pretty good looking table if you don’t mind patching some small cracks and broken pieces. ... show more

First let me say I’m not a person that writes reviews. But, this is the exception. This table is fabulous. My husband put it together in about 45 minutes. We have gotten older and started eating at the coffee table. The old one we had to bend over. This top lifts very easy and it rolls on a rug just as easy. Very sturdy and beautiful. This item's "wood" is about as dense as the cheapest particle boards at Home Depot. The veneer on the surface is pretty with warm and cool tones as it is a mix of grains, and textures. The rustic features on the surface look like someone stabbed it with tacks though. Not a fan myself, but if the dog chews it or the kids damage it maybe they will fit right in. (doubtful) Ours arrived broken, screws splintered the fiberboard, side torn from the frame and the drawer's ball glides scattered to the four corners of the box and room. Inspect before you take it out of the packaging... its impossible to get it back in. Just know that if a screw doesn't tighten properly it may never thanks to the cheap wood, extremely cheap particle board construction, and if the drawer makes noise the joint holding the top under the lift top and the front or back is not connected plumb. Pros: veneer will match a variety of wood tone furniture, it took 8 screws to assemble it (15 minute assembly), the top lifts smoothly, quiet close ball drawer glides and it arrives mostly assembled. Nice looking but budget saavy purchase... just don't expect it to last more than a few years. Con: it took 8 screws to assemble, preassembled bits are held together with flimsy wood dowels, thin nails and the most pathetic screws possible. It arrived broken thanks to careless shipper, and I don't know if we can fix or return it ( keep you posted). ... show more

    • Gorgeous furniture
I ordered two of these. the first one arrived in perfect condition. The second one arrived broken in several ways. It was packaged that way from the factory because the broken pieces were not in the box at all. The third table arrived to replace the broken parts of table two. The piece we were to take from table three was broken. 12 screws were stripped out of the hardware which would raise the top up and over to users. Fortunately, new larger screws were able to solve those problems and we packaged table two up and it was picked up by a shipping company. Amazon was terrific with the return issues. I would recommend this furniture to everyone. However, I would highly recommend going to Furniture Max and they will match the price of Amazon and your furniture will be packaged in a superior fashion. UPS is not the way to transport this quality of furniture. ... show more

I love it. Took us awhile to put it together without instructions...but finally found instructions taped to the inside of the box lid in an orange envelope. LoL I heard the tiny holes are from bugs eating wood in the trees (a theory?) But I like the finish, Beautiful piece of furniture. I find it sturdy and well worth the price. ... show more

Packaged arrived with exterior damage and no assembly instructions. You need to go on line to get them. It does take two to put together. Slight damage on bottom and a drawer that needed to be glued together. Decided to keep anyway and fix both flaws. When you lift the top up, be careful not to lean on it heavily or it will tip. ... show more

Well when it arrived, there were screws that had come out of one of the hinges. Very frustrating. But once assembled, the look & sturdiness of the table TOTALLY made up for it. I love it!!
