    • Beautiful desk
The desk is sturdy and beautiful. My only complaint is the smell. It’s been 2 weeks and the strong chemical smell has not diminished. You can smell it when you walk through the door and it’s very strong while sitting at the desk. I’m hoping it dissipates with time.

    • Lift Top Doesn't Hold Weight of 2 Monitors
This desk is great but it DOES NOT hold the weight of my 2 monitors and still lift into a standing position. The monitors on a stand fit across so they are only in the center area but it is too heavy. I would like to know what the maximum weight is but I cannot find it here in the Q&A. It also smells bad like polyurethane or a finishing / chemical smell. ... show more

This desk is huge. There's not much assembly, which is good since the directions are terrible. Most of the pieces didn't want to screw together properly without some work. The lift part in the middle works well and you could probably use for additional storage if you were careful. I prefer my computers be plugged directly into a surge protector, so will only use for phone charging or lamps and plug the desk also into the surge protector. Color is a weird shade of grey that's got a distinct green tinge to it. Very sturdy. Edit about 45 days into use: The finish scraped off extremely easily where my fitbit has bumped against it with its soft rubber band and small metal buckle. It's not a terrible weathered look if you're into that, but certainly doesn't match the rest of the desk. Can't see a way to upload a photo into an edited review, but it's a series of light grey streaks and the scraped area certainly feels rougher also. Also discovered where that extremely high-pitched squealing noise is coming from. It only happens when I plug something into the desk itself, no matter if headphones or phone. It's not constant and you may not be able to hear it at all - my husband can't. Don't have a dog, but the cat avoids the desk when the noise is ongoing. Quarantine status: this desk supports four very crowded laptops and a bunch of scattered papers as long as you don't lift the desk to use as a standing desk. Two people can use it easily, though you'll probably feel too close. I really wish the drawers were wider and deeper. I've knocked off another star for the ringing noise and the easily scraped finish, down to 3/5. ... show more

This desk was easy to assemble and looks great. It is easy to lift the stand up desk portion. My only complaint is the fumes. It smells like varnish. It is so strong it makes my eyes water. I think they must have packaged it immediately after staining it. I placed it near an open window in my office and 7 hours later it still smells. I imagine it will take a few days.     • Nice Desk, sturdy a stylish.
Great desk, however the silica pouch exploded in transit and had silica throughout package. Desk asl has strong odour of gasoline! To the point where it's stinking out the room the following day :-/
