The only bed frames available locally, and even most of the ones online have a post halfway down the side. The frames that used one or more posts in the center of the bed were ridiculously expensive. After busting my foot multiple times a day on our previous bed frame with the mid-way post every time I helped my wife in and out of bed after surgery, I scoured the shops and found this very reasonably priced frame with a post in the middle of the bed. It's ok. It's a regular metal bedframe. It seems sturdy and my husband said it was easy to set up. It was missing 4 out of 5 of the feet for it. Fortunately it was set up on carpet so it was still usable.
