This is a nice denim jacket, it fit me well. It was an essential piece of kit recently had to use it like a hot pad to lift up a hot exhaust pipe while I wired the pipe up off the road after a fender bender accident. I don’t leave home with out it now.

Purchased for my husband who is 6' and about 175 lbs. and typically wears between sizes medium and large, depending on how he wants it to fit and the brand. I ordered a Levi & Strauss Co. Gold Label Signature Trucker jacket. Not sure how the "Gold Label" classification differs from other Levi lines. First try: ordered a larger size as per reviewers recommendations. The sleeve length was fine, but the torso was short (above the waist) and boxy. Returned. Second try: ordered the "correct size" (medium), but was still incorrectly sent a large. Returned. Third try: The prices are now increasing, so I had to settle for a different color - a medium faded blue. The fit is fine (sleeve length is correct, torso hits a little longer than the waist, which is my husband's preference). The fabric is not super stiff or too thick, so it has good layering options. I received what I would expect of a basic denim trucker jacket. My only dissatisfaction is the color. The photo represents it as more faded, which gives it a more vintage look. The color I was sent is the classic denim blue. I believe this was sent to me by mistake, but I'm tired of trying to get the right product, and I'm generally satisfied with this. It's not a bad color, and will fade with time.

I was looking for a black Levi's jacket for a while but didn't want it enough to spend $80-90. Fortunately, this jacket was only about $40 so I snapped it up. It's slightly different from the classic Levi's jacket: it's made of a lighter cotton material- think heavy canvas, not denim. It is deep black with black stiting and silver buttons instead of the bronze. It might be a little stretchy, but not enough to not feel like the classic. It's rugged and well built and breaks in to that lived-in feel of Levi's jackest in a few days. If you want a lighter material (which I preferred) then it's perfect. If you really want the stiffer denim feel, you may be disappointed. This was just what I was looking for, so I was stoked to find it at that low price. It's a classic. Highly recommended!
