Recently I purchased a rifle at a local gun store. The store recommended this scope. While not familiar with Sig Optics, I chose to delay my purchase and do some research. In that research I found a Buckmaster series remarkably similar to the Whiskey3 series. I sent off a query to Sig asking the differences, for they seemed like the same embodiment. A day later I received a personal call from Trent at Sig Optics which explained the differences. I was impressed with the personal call and attention from such a large company. For the price I don't think you can go wrong. It is not a 1000 dollar scope and should not be expected to compete with them. But for a budget build this is a perfect rig.

It's decent glass and clarity for the price. You can see out to 100 yards plus without issue. I do like that it is fog proof, shock proof , and does come with a lifetime unconditional warranty. With that said if you have $50-$60 more to spend you could definitely find something better. It is a decent scope for sure. ... show more

Bright glass, nice diameter reticle for hunting and target shooting 22LR. Lots of tolerance. I upgraded my inherited Marlin model 60 with this scope and it crowns it well. So far, I’ve owned and shot Leupold for many years, Nikon, Bushnel, Hawke Airmax series, trijicon... I was always taught that spending as much or almost as much on your optics as your firearm is a sound investment. This scope surprised me at how much brighter is was then other scopes that cost almost twice as much. The eye relief also blows away the competition. I’m a fan of multi redicle scope but I’m not regretting buying this scope for one minute. This is the kind of scope and price point that even if you don’t have the rifle to put it on, buy it and throw it in the safe for next year. ... show more

This scope is very good value for the money. Better then the Vortex scopes at this price point. I am a fan of Vortex, but Vortex scopes at this price point are not so great. This Sig scope is not made in China, I think that's a good thing. The low end scopes from Vortex are. The glass is pretty clear and sharp. I was able to zero this scope easily, it was pretty precise in its point of impact change when I made adjustments. These Whiskey 3 scopes from Sig are going to be my new good to scope when I'm trying to buy a budget scope. ... show more

This is a lot of scope for the money. The glass is really crisp and clear and I especially like the oversized power adjustment ring. It was very easy to sight in and the turret adjustments are precise with each click. My point of aim did not move when adjusting the power. My only dislike is it has a pretty narrow field of view. Still, it’s great scope for the money and time will tell how well it holds up under hunting conditions. ... show more
